The dedicated healthcare team, including Dr. Yolonda Gray, a licensed veterinarian, is trained and equipped to handle a diverse range of medical needs, from routine Puppy And Kitten care to complex Chronic Illness management and specialized Large Animal Services. As a community member notes, this clinic is highly praised because the staff "actually know what they're talking about and even educate you on what your pet is experiencing medically," providing printed information to ensure clients leave fully informed. This focus on Client Education is a cornerstone of their practice, helping Kansans become the best possible advocates for their pets' health.
In an era where veterinary costs can be a concern, the positive feedback regarding the Animal Care Center’s reasonable pricing is a significant highlight for local users. Pet owners often express their willingness to pay more due to the demonstrated expertise, yet appreciate that the rates are kept accessible. The successful handling of routine procedures like Spay/Neuters, as well as the quick and accurate diagnosis of serious issues, like a pet requiring oral surgery that was missed by another clinic, underscores their diagnostic and surgical competence. The Animal Care Center is committed to providing compassionate and complete comprehensive patient care for every animal, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner for animal health in Fort Scott.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- This is the best vet we've been to in years. They actually know what they're talking about and even educate you on what your pet is experiencing medically and even print out additional information for you to take home with you. Their prices are reasonable(tbh I'd pay more bc they DO know what they're doing). I was told my kitty(by another vet clinic )had a bad tooth yet he actually had a more serious problem that requires him to have oral surgery next month. I'm so glad we found this clinic so my kitty can be healthy once again! They even gave him a steroid shot that is helping him sooooo much until he has his surgery next month. - This is the place we trust to take our furry baby. We’ve been taking him here for over a year now. They’re always friendly and professional. It’s easy to get in and out. Prices are reasonable. We’ve had our dog neutered here. It went as smoothly as we hoped it would. They always love on him and give him treats. I highly recommend them with your furry family members! - I take my dog to ACC on a regular schedule. Our appointments are always great. The staff are kind and caring. Bandit is happy to have a good healthy checkup. October 08 · Melissa Valley
- It was my 15yr old beagles "Izzy" 2nd time EVER needing her nails trimmed. One of her pads was infected. Not only did they make her feel calm and comfortable the whole time, she didn't even notice with their soft touch that they trimmed that nail. I was beyond words. When they treat your furr-babies as individuals and as family that doesn't only make them vets, it makes them a part of YOUR FAMILY ❤. EXCELLENT, EXPERIENCED, AND PROFESSIONAL to say the least. We r thankful to have them in our lives. XOXO July 06 · Marlana Driskill
- Dr. Gray and her staff are very caring and will do what's best for your four-legged babies. May 11 · Michelle McCord
