★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Had our first visit today with Dr. Robbins with a semi emergency. My puppers and I could not have asked for a better experience! Everyone was so kind…office staff and vet/techs included. Dr. Robbins especially had such a kind, knowledgeable demeanor that was so very appreciated by this worried fur-mama! We’ve found our new vet home!
June 30 · becky boyerLet me tell you. I only had a fair amount of money, because I had to pay my bills, and I wasn’t expecting my little baby to get sick. They took there time to make sure I had the medicine for my baby! They worked with me more than I can ever thank them! Best Vet I’ve ever had!! My little Fluffi says “woof woof” so he loves it! ❤️
July 23 · shirley childress(I’d like to preface by saying this is absolutely worth the read, especially if you’re genuine about your pet’s safety and well being - just like these people should be, but it’s become quite apparent that is not the case.) Would not recommend this Veterinarian to anyone under any circumstances, if anything I’d advise against going entirely. I wish so badly I could rate less than one star. My sister’s pup was recently hit by a car due to unfortunate circumstances, and was brought to this clinic as soon as they were available. While the staff has been patient and helpful during the entire process, the Vet herself is neglectful to the point where we had to move clinics. After amputating his leg, they sent him home to start his recovery process. Despite several calls and messages, including pictures of his worsening condition, they continued to claim that everything was going according to the healing process. This Vet could not have been more wrong. Not even mentioning the absolute botched job she did at stitching his incision back up, she also is suddenly unavailable and “on vacation”. Even though we were told to come back two weeks after the initial surgery to remove his stitches. The same stitches that began gushing blood, ooze, and developing a foul odor. After once again contacting this clinic, they claimed these things were normal with amputation. When his incision - which was practically mangled from the terrible stitching - began forming holes of rotted skin large enough to see his muscles, we knew there was no way this could be normal. I would attach pictures, but it is so grotesque I’m not sure Google would allow the pictures to stay posted. We have now relocated him, after realizing that obviously this clinic does not care for the well-being of not only our pet but our family member. The new clinic he’s at put him on a gurney and rushed him inside within seconds of seeing him, where they proceeded to profusely claim that his condition was FAR from anything normal. Due to their negligence he has now developed gangrene in his incision, and his liver is working OVERTIME to fight an infection this clinic - Animal Clinic of Smithville - originally said didn’t exist. I’m not sure about anyone else, but we take the care of our pets very seriously. This entire process has been absolutely ridiculous, and it is a genuine miracle that he made it out alive. The new veterinarian quite literally had to cut off and resew everything this clinic did. Never in my life have I known a veterinarian to perform surgery and then immediately LEAVE town. I would also like to throw out there that this woman works between this clinic in Smithville, and another emergency clinic in Nashville. If you have the means to avoid either one I’d encourage you to do so. Otherwise you might be risking your pet’s life entirely. (Also met with refusal of refund after we provided proof of the growing infection caused entirely by their gaslighting and neglect.)
May 26 · Emma AllenI give 1 star because I can’t give 0 or less stars, this place is horrible, operated on our dog and left town for 3 weeks, no follow up, post op care. When they were contacted about problems they blew it off saying that was normal, gangrene is NOT NORMAL, took the dog to another vet where the dog stayed and was treated for severe infection, gangrene. This place is just after your money, they do not care about your animal. Terrible treatment, no animal deserves the pain and suffering this place put them through
May 20 · lsmimijones NoneyaWe love Dr.Burke. my neighbor recommended him when we moved out here a year ago. He's been amazing with my two dogs. He listens and understands your concerns with no judgment. Missy is already feeling better. Thank you!
