★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Our family, and extended, have been seeing Doc Joy for years. We very recently had to say goodbye to our very loved springer spaniel Charles. Although this week has felt empty without him, we have found comfort knowing the people here felt our urgency in ending his pain in as comfortable of a way as possible for him. Thank you for your empathy and understanding during one of the hardest days of our lives. We appreciate you. I have attached a memorial picture of our boy. Thank you all. February 01 · Sylvia
- Great staff & compassionate vets.I had to put a cat down recently & the compassion they provided was amazing. July 19 · Paul Tingler
- I've waited a few years to share my review of this clinic, and since I'm seeing that more people are recognizing the issues that this clinic has, I thought it would be a good time to share my experience. We entrusted our dog to the care of Animal Hospital for boarding two times. The first time, he was pretty anxious when we picked him up, but it was a couple days' stay and I chalked it up to the usual away from home anxiety. The second time we boarded him there, we were gone for about a week. He needed extra care because they had surgically removed a lump from his leg shortly beforehand and it needed attention, and he had to wear a cone to keep from licking it. I assumed the vet that did his procure would be the best option for boarding. The state of our poor boy when we picked him up was heart wrenching. He was thinner, extremely anxious, and obviously in distress. When we got home he began vomiting foam and was lethargic. When I called the clinic they said it's likely because of food changes and to call in the morning if it continued. He died that night.I don't know what they did to him. I don't know what they're doing to their boarded animals. I only know that this clinic killed my dog. He was in excellent health, he wasn't old, he didn't have other conditions.Since it was too late, and I was too heartbroken, I didn't pursue the matter.I hope that someone out there reads this and spares their best friend. I thought I could trust them because they're a vet clinic and other people trusted them. Please don't make my mistake. November 07 · Nikki Reckinger
