★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- To start, I've taken several dogs here over the years. I like the convenience of scheduling online. However, I've had mixed experiences. Great, compassionate care when I had a very sick dog that needed to be euthanized. Quick, straight to the point biopsy and exam to confirm tumors were fatty and not cancer. But the lobby needs to be renovated or rearranged. Having the desk right next to the front door, the only door, creates a bottleneck at that door. So while you are trying to check in or out, you are also trying to keep control of your own animal as well as watch people coming in and out of the door so that you're either not in the way or too near another animal that may not be friendly. And the last time that I boarded a dog there, I separated out and measured exactly how much food would be needed and wrote very clear instructions about the amount per feeding on the bags of food. When I picked my dog up 2 weeks later, she was visibly much skinnier than when we dropped her off and most of the food was not used. I had even taken an entire unopened bag of food because she would be there for so long and that bag was not even opened. In 2 weeks they only used two gallon size bags of the provided kibble to feed my 50 lb dog. So, it's been a hot or miss with this office for me. June 25 · Danielle Morgan-Jackson
- I want to express my sincere gratitude to the team at Animal Medical Center in Claremore for the exceptional care and professionalism they provided during my dog’s recent neutering surgery. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that every staff member was not only highly skilled but also genuinely compassionate and dedicated to animal wellness. The entire process—from consultation to post-op care—was handled with such attention to detail and a deep respect for my pet’s comfort and safety. The veterinarians and support staff were informative, patient, and made sure I fully understood the procedure and what to expect during recovery. I truly felt like they were advocates for my dog’s health every step of the process. July 31 · Marisela Celis
- I've been to this vet a few times for my goats and thought it was ok to return as the prices were acceptable and they were transparent about them. Well unfortunately after trusting that I could come back with my cat, I learned that you have to get lucky if you want to have a good experience. The vet and techs themselves are nice, but I just cannot fathom how they deemed to charge me over twice as much for a urine and blood sample as other vets I have been to for the EXACT same tests. When the total came out and I almost vomited from shock, I was offered no explanation, no conversation to explore any options, and I was told they did not have financing when they literally have multiple signs stating that they do! Sitting there in silence and not caring that the bill is insane just tells me this receptionist has no compassion for people who aren't rich. I just want an explanation how they can charge me double for what I've gotten done before, I'm shattered right now.To respond to the response: I immediately asked why the price was so high when I've had the same tests done at a different clinic for half the price. I asked about the prices of the different tests and she sat there and didn't respond to me. Hence why I wrote that I was met with silence. And if you partner with companies for bills, then why wasn't that her answer when we asked about financing? Also just because i didn't see a call doesn't mean I don't want to understand what happened, I just find it very hard to believe anything will be fixed based on this response. August 17 · espinogena
- We needed a vet in a hurry due to a recent adoption having a surprise pregnancy. We had never been to Animal Medical Center, they didn’t make us go through outrageous steps to get care. They got me in within an hour of calling when I researched that most corgis need help delivering, hospitalized my pup at my request, and did a C-section the next morning when she went into labor. All steps were verified that I wanted to proceed, all costs were laid out ahead of time. Price points were more than fair. After surgery they updated me, and then let me know when I could get her and the pups. The day after they called to check how everything was going and made an additional prescription over the phone as well to help her with her motherly duties. We were using SAHO in Owasso, but this will be our new vet for every future need! - I took my 5-month-old pittie here to be spayed. They scheduled me the next week and walked me through the whole process, including aftercare, and sent me home with medications to keep her comfortable. They called me a few days later to check up on her and to see if I had additional questions. Very clean facility, wonderful staff. Thank you, Animal Medical Center! May 28 · Angel Reynolds
