Atlanta Animal Rehab & Fitness Introduce
For pet owners throughout the state of Georgia, seeing an animal companion struggle with mobility issues, recover from surgery, or manage a chronic condition can be heartbreaking. While traditional veterinary care addresses the initial problem, the journey to full recovery often requires specialized attention. In Roswell, Georgia, Atlanta Animal Rehab & Fitness (AARF) fills this crucial need, offering a unique and invaluable service that goes beyond a standard veterinary clinic. This is a highly specialized animal hospital dedicated to providing physical rehabilitation, fitness, and advanced diagnostic services for pets. AARF is a place where animals can regain their strength, mobility, and quality of life through targeted, professional care. Their team understands that a pet’s recovery is a process, and they are committed to being a supportive partner for both the pet and the owner every step of the way. By focusing on tailored treatment plans and a compassionate approach, they are helping pets across Georgia live happier, healthier, and more active lives.
The core philosophy of Atlanta Animal Rehab & Fitness is that physical rehabilitation and fitness are essential components of a pet's overall health and well-being. They work to not only treat existing conditions but to also empower pet owners with the knowledge and tools to continue their pet's progress at home. This collaborative approach is a key part of their success. One grateful client shared how AARF was a "truly valuable resource" for their schnauzer's recovery from spinal surgery, noting that the staff "feels like friends or family" and that the "gains seen...are worth the expense." This emphasis on personal connection and visible results is a hallmark of their practice. Another client praised the team, including Dr. Amy, Dr. Monica, and Dr. Hall, for their work with their 16.5-year-old dachshund, Kaiser, who was struggling with weakness in his back legs. Through a combination of underwater treadmill workouts, cold laser therapy, and home exercises, Kaiser "has gained muscle and has improved overall." This kind of success story highlights the team's expertise and commitment to individualized care. The dedicated and caring staff, including "a gem" like Nancy at the front desk, ensures that every visit is a positive and supportive experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They have been a truly valuable resource as our schnauzer recovered from spinal surgery he had at UGA. He's gotten stronger, and they've helped us so much. He had this same surgery 3 years ago. I wish we'd known what a difference they would have made then. Johnna has taught us so much, and all of the staff feels like friends or family. The gains seen by Goliath are worth the expense.
March 18 · Dena B.Dr. Amy, Dr. Monica and Dr. Hall are incredible. My dachshund, Kaiser, is 16 1/2 and he started to have some muscle atrophy that was causing weakness in his back legs. He visits weekly for a workout on the underwater tread, cold laser and core exercises. Dr. Amy gave us a home PT regimen that we follow. We also pair this with biweekly acupuncture and cold laser therapy at our regular vet.Kaiser has gained muscle and has improved overall. Everyone at AARF is caring, committed, and wonderful. Special shout out to Nancy at the front desk, too! She’s a gem.
May 11 · Rayandra Slonina10/5 stars! PT is SO important in people, and in even so much so in animals. Being a veterinarian, I have very high standards for the care of my pets, let alone my service animal. The level of expertise that Jonna and her team display is simply exceptional. The love, care, and attention towards their patients is second to none and an added bonus. You simply cannot be in better hands than at AARF.
July 28 · Michelle FarrarThey have been great with rehabing my 16 year old dog Sadie! They know their stuff.
August 16 · Jimmie WaltersVery thorough exam and knowledgeable for my baby’s needs. Like most pet specialty services, it’s not inexpensive. Everyone there was super nice and helpful and followed up with me. Received a complete write up in the mail.
