★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I cannot say enough good things about Alpharetta Veterinary Specialty & Emergency. My cat Opal is currently there undergoing diagnostics, and while this is such a difficult situation, I know she is in the very best hands. The facility itself is beautiful and has a calming atmosphere, even for a kitty who usually doesn’t love vet visits. The technician and DVM who cared for her were absolutely amazing. They were knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient. They let me ask every question I had, walked me through the answers in detail, and never once made me feel rushed. Most importantly, they made me feel like my baby girl was truly cared for.No matter what the outcome of her diagnostics may be, I am so grateful I brought her here. I couldn’t ask for a better team or a better place to trust with her care.
August 29 · Breelyn RushWe took Milly to the ER with very vague symptoms. We were seen immediately and within two hours Dr. Kissinger had formulated a plan and a possible cause for her feeling so unwell. Milly isn’t out of the woods but this hospital absolutely saved her life. Dr. Kissinger explained every single thing she was doing in full detail and with empathy. They have all the equipment readily available for testing, labs, and surgery. The nurses were kind and compassionate to milly even when she started feeling better and getting feisty. They were always available to talk to me for an update. 10/10. You guys are amazing.
June 10 · Jenny BurnsI cannot say enough about this clinic. My friends were in Europe when their Papillon blew a disk and was unable to walk. From the moment I was greeted at the front desk I knew we were in the right place. The entire staff is first rate and Dr. Kopec is an excellent surgeon. She kept us informed every step of the way. Thanks to Dr. Kopec and the staff I was able to put the owners at ease. I had 100 percent confidence that my friend’s pet was in the very best hands. Thank you Alpharetta V.S.E!
June 25 · Grace StephenWe can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kopec and the entire team at Alpharetta Veterinary Specialty and Emergency (AVSE). They have truly been a lifeline for us and our sweet dog, McAllen, during one of the scariest times we’ve ever faced as pet parents. Before coming to AVSE, we went to multiple vets trying to find answers for McAllen’s sudden paralysis. It wasn’t until we found Dr. Kopec and her team that we finally felt we were in the right hands. From day one, they handled McAllen with so much expertise, care, and genuine compassion. One thing that meant so much to us was how they let us come visit him whenever we wanted. No matter how busy they were, they always made time for us to sit with him, and they treated us with such kindness and respect every single time we were there. It made an incredibly hard situation just a little more bearable. Thanks to their incredible dedication, McAllen has gone from completely paralyzed to walking again, something we didn’t know would even be possible. They’ve supported us through every terrifying moment, answered every question, and given us so much hope.We feel truly blessed to have found AVSE. If you ever need specialty or emergency care for your pet, you could not be in better hands than with Dr. Kopec and her amazing team. They gave us our boy back and we will forever be grateful. ❤️🐾
July 11 · Jennifer OsbornePlease if your baby has to go to oncology (though I pray no one will ever have to experience this), go see Dr. Vidal at Alpharetta Specialty. She and Lindsay (the tech/nurse) were amazing, kind, compassionate, wonderful with my baby, and they made so much happen on our consultation visit. Not only did we talk to Dr. Vidal for 1hr+, we also were able to get same-day CT scans, ultrasounds, new RX, and genetic testing+blood work.
