June 22 · ANTHONY BLANDINOWe love The Village Animal Hospital. Dr. Segarra and her staff are kind, caring and put your animal and their best interest first - always. Dr. Segarra spends time with you and I can always count on her to fit us in if the situation arises. I’m so thankful for The Village Animal Hospital and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a vet for their four legged family members.
June 05 · Courtenay SealockPrior to Dr. Segarra's opening of The Village Animal Hospital, she was our vet and came to know our cats quite well. Her compassionate demeanor with both the pets and pet owners is extremely calming and comforting. We were thrilled to see that she opened The Village Animal Hospital several years ago, given our long history with her. Like other patients have stated in their reviews, Dr. Segarra's services are top notch and she never "over-sells" unnecessary services or supplies. She empowers her clients with information, allowing them to partner with her in the continued good health of their pets, determining what care is best given at home vs. at the clinic. Several of our cats have endured a lifetime of special needs including diabetes, hyper-thyroid, kidney failure and anxiety issues. I'm grateful to say that they have all continued to live full, content, quality lives, exceeding typical life expectancies which I attribute to Dr. Segarra's keen advice. She is truly knowledgeable and passionate about the care and comfort of her patients - both two legged and four-legged.
September 03 · Jan NortonYou will find Hearts of GOLD here!I am a volunteer with Rescue Me Georgia (RMG), and we were in a bind to get travel health certificates by Sat 6/18 morning for 10 puppies and two adults who would then be able to catch a transport to New Hampshire to be adopted in NH. RMG was looking for appointments wherever possible and on a lark I contacted VAH since I have been taking my doggies there for the last 7+ years. Not only did I find that Dr. Segarra is USDA certified to issue the travel certs (APHIS 7001 forms), they actually accommodated all 10 puppies and the 2 adults. They requested we drop the dogs off by 8:30am and no later than noon on Fri and they would work throughout the day on examinations, vaccinations, and certifications. We rounded up our canine crew from multiple ATL locations and had everyone at VAH by 10:15am.Dr. Segarra, Hunter, and Carla worked tirelessly throughout the day getting through our dogs without compromising any of their other scheduled patients. They ended up staying 2.5 hours past their normal closing time. Not only that, VAH also offered us Rescue pricing with significant discounts on ALL the services for all 12!Late Fri, I realized there was a communication issue between me and RMG, and Sat morning I was there again at VAH for a couple of additional vaccinations when it opened. Mary was amazing and rallied around my issue, and Dr. Segarra rushed in before she was scheduled to be in, getting everything sorted out in time for me to meet up with the transport.I cannot say enough great things about the staff and the doc here, and I am very thankful to have them in my community.
August 30 · Darpan KakkadDoctor Beatrice and her staff are very attentive and always provide assistance when our pets have health problems. And they solve these problems perfectly!
