Valley Veterinary Hospital Reviews
Dr. Shrieber and his staff cared for our greyhound, Chowder, for 6 1/2 years. Early on, Dr. Shrieber diagnosed her with a malabsorption problem, even before the blood work came back. Most recently, Chowder had to be put to sleep because of her inability to walk. Dr. Shrieber demonstrated considerable compassion and expertise and I would highly recommend the Valley Veterinary Hospital. Dr, Shrieber and his staff are excellent!!
Jun 03, 2025 · Pat MitalaMy husband and I love Dr. Shreiber and his staff. They are so kind! You can clearly tell they love and want to take care of our pets. They have taken care of our two dogs, Callie & Sydney, since they were puppies and I wouldn’t ever consider going anywhere else. Our girl Sydney unfortunately loves to eat things and has had two surgeries now to remove foreign objects. Both times were so scary, but we knew our girl was in good hands. Dr. Shreiber treated Sydney like she was his own! We love Valley Forge Veterinary Hospital and highly recommend them!
Dec 08, 2024 · Cassandra RothmanAnxious pet owners beware!!!!!!If you are looking for a great fear free-esq vet that’s higher quality care for cheaper go to Whitelands animal hospital in malvern. Totally worth the drive for a wonderful compassionate team.I am not usually one to review a place even when I had a bad experience however I left in tears and with a dog that was severally reactive for weeks after our last visit. Now for the review of valley vet. I have never felt more defeated than when I have taken my dog here. As an anxious dog owner I am always trying to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing. For my dog all precautions were taken and my dog was still terrified from the moment we walked in. We did a lot of waiting in a room and instead of allowing my dog the opportunity to calm down and become acclimated to the vet and tech they just invaded my dogs space almost immediately. I feel that since these appointments are often double booked and only give a short period of time the anxious animals are unable to get the care they need. Not only that but when they asked if something was okay with me I told them no and the vet informed me they were going to do it anyway. This is not meant to negate any of the positive experiences others have had with them I just really need others who may be in a similar situation to know there are other options.
Jul 02, 2025 · TaylorI took my cat here to get neutered and asked the doctor about his stomach. Dr.Dobbins knew immediately after touching my cat's stomach he had a hernia. They did his neutering and fixed his hernia the same time and everything went well. My cat has been super happy and energetic. Thank you so much for healing my cat and bringing him back to me !!
Apr 18, 2025 · Yara PompeyaDr Shreiber and his staff provided excellent care for our dog Rocky for the ten plus years after we moved to the area. They helped him through a few of his health issues as he aged, always taking time and seeking input along the way. When it was time for us to say goodbye to him a few months ago, they helped us navigate that with so much compassion and care. Words can't express how much we appreciated it all in making sure Rocky was well loved and cared for and as happy as could be.
