UrgentVet Reviews
Last night’s late night visit delivered sad news about our beloved and elderly dog. Today, the whole family returned for end-of-life care (our regular veterinarian was booked solid and couldn’t see us until next week, but they highly recommended UrgentVet). Both experiences, while deeply emotionally painful, were handled with empathy, kindness, and patience as we processed information and made this most difficult decision. The separate room offered to us was serene, comfortable, and stocked with whatever one might need at a time like this. We were given all the time we needed before and after our very good boy began his new journey. I don’t wish for anyone to go through this, but if you must then I can highly recommend UrgentVet to meet all of your needs.*Picture of our sweet boy a few years back when he was knocked out after a day of shenanigans.*
Jul 04, 2025 · Jennifer MonsonI went in on a Saturday afternoon with my 17 year old feline, in an emergency due to her quick declining health. Our home vet was so booked there was 0 availability. Urgent vet was very empathetic, efficient, communicative, and kind. Ultimately we scheduled to have her euthanized 2 days later (Monday). Unfortunately my feline did not survive to the 2 days, but thankfully passed with me in the comfort of our home 20 hours later (sunday). I immediately called urgent vet to tell them, and I was able to bring her in immediately to set up her cremation. My family came and we were put in a very comfortable, relaxing room where we could spend our last moments with her body. The staff were very gentle, kind, attentive, loving and organized. They came to me with all of the cremation options. This was one of the hardest things Ive ever had to do in my life. I am so thankful and at peace, with the help of the amazing staff. Thank you all for offering a clean, efficient, comfortable and loving place for us, we appreciate everything!
May 04, 2025 · Shavon MoskalI had a fantastic experience at UrgentVet in the Wayne area when I brought in my Australian Shepherd, Brownie. We discovered a tick near his mouth, and I was immediately worried about Lyme disease and other potential complications. Thankfully, Amy and the entire staff were incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and kind.Amy removed the tick quickly and safely, and the whole visit took just a few minutes. She explained everything thoroughly — including signs of tick-borne illnesses in dogs, how long ticks need to be attached to transmit diseases, and what symptoms of Lyme disease in dogs I should keep an eye out for.The clinic was clean, professional, and calm — which made a stressful situation feel totally manageable. If you’re looking for a vet open after hours or need urgent care for your dog, I highly recommend UrgentVet. They’re amazing with pet emergencies, especially things like tick removal, fleas and tick prevention, and quick diagnostics.Brownie is doing great, and I’m really grateful to have found such a trustworthy and efficient team. We’ll definitely return for any future after-hours pet care needs.
