My cat has had an upset stomach for a few days & needed to be seen urgently but not ER urgently so I ended up here since they were the first open appointment in the city. The facility is super clean & clean smelling, the staff was excellent, very friendly. They were budget conscious without being condescending or feeling like a sales pitch and came in way under my worst case scenario imagined bill.My cat hates new people and was super scared, but they really took their time to make him and I both feel comfortable. I feel confident and happy with his diagnosis & treatment.Highly recommend.Thank you so much for your excellent care, from Germ. 🖤
May 19, 2025 · Robin SinfordI am updating my review to reflect our experience with Dr. Schmunk. We previously had an awful experience with a vet here (Dr. Ebbighausen) and almost didn't return. We have been brining our three dogs to this clinic for about a year now. We gave it another try hoping we would get a different vet, and we did! The entire experience for our dog's comprehensive exam was fantastic... from the front desk staff to the interaction with Dr. Schmunk. Vet visits can be anxiety-inducing for the owners sometimes too, and they made the entire visit a breeze today.
Apr 25, 2025 · Lauren SmithI have two dogs on their care plan. I have patiently waited for their " Emergency" situations while being there with my dogs in the past. Recently my 12 lb dog suffered multiple snake bites and I jumped in the car and called them to let them know I was on the way. This was definitely an emergency situation and time meant everything. They are only a mile from my house. I was told that Banfield Pet "Hospital" is not set up to handle emergency situations. So somehow I have to wait when they handle "emergencies" but when I have one they are useless. Luckily I was able to call another vet and they got me in immediately. If you're dog is sick and you need to see a vet look elsewhere. If you just need wellness care they do okay, definitely do not rely on the Banfield Pet "Hospital" for anything else.Generally one would question their competence in all areas of vet medicine it they only limit themselves to simple tasks. Raleigh has one of the best vet schools anywhere at NC State. It is surprising that Banfield would either not let their doctors practice what they are taught or cannot find fully qualified vets. Either way it calls into question the level of care you are provided by Banfield.
Jun 26, 2025 · Eddy TaylorEverybody at this location is extremely helpful, Kind and caring. My Meepsy wasn't a patient for long before she passed. But everybody here made her comfortable and walked me through the process. I've never found a vet I loved, until I came to this Banfield location. I always thought I got subpar service and that past vets didn't actually care, I felt as if it was just "how much money can I squeeze out of the owner" This vet is the ONLY place I've trusted my cat with fully, the only place that I felt cared and treated my Meepsy as the princess she was. Thank you for everything ❤️
Apr 10, 2025 · Tabitha CloughWe opted in the puppy wellness plan and had our first appointment, setting it up online is a bit confusing you put a card in for the $0 charge and then you get emailed to set an appointment they do not start the plan till you are seen, but great news they will get you started no worries. Getting and scheduling an appointment was super easy peasy and this is when your plan fee and set up fee will be due. Once in the room, I found it odd that they did not weigh him but you can walk in and put them on the scale. Once in a room, small wait before a very thorough Doctor and Tech came in explaining things and concerned about the care and plan for Whiskeys health. She explains all the things. I really feel his is in good hands while they are a less expensive option with the wellness plans it is a great in making the best care for your beloved pets affordable. Keeping you on schedule with reminders and being able to access all the things online for boarding and grooming . I will recommend to any pet owners that will listen. The entire staff was friendly and helpful
