Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
My boy Arthur was new to this Banfield location. Little did we know, it would be his last two vet visits. I had no idea his health had deteriorated to the extent that it was time to say goodbye. It's important to note that vet staff will always be busy no matter the location, but the staff here made time to be compassionate and caring when it mattered most to us. Dr. Valentine didn't know Arthur well, but she treated him with so much care, compassion and concern, giving me guidance and information that allowed me to make the most difficult decision a pet owner can make. I will always be grateful for that.My best friend and I had 14 years of unconditional love when I let him rest. Thank you to all the staff here that let me give him that gentle goodbye. The simple hug when I picked him up for the last time meant a lot to me. I loved him so much, always will and will always miss him.PS: Please change the clock batteries. Especially in the room where you are saying goodbye to your most beloved friend.
May 09, 2025 · Mary LuWorst location. Multiple horrible experiences. Wasted our time by telling us they could not administer the allergy shot bc it hasn’t been 4 weeks. Why wasn’t that mentioned during scheduling? Instead was told when I arrived. 2 weeks goes by and we schedule and come in only to find out they administered the wrong dosage. The vet tech DID NOT review her medical history prior to administration. If she did, like anyone else would, before injecting anything would’ve known or asked. She tried lying to us multiple times. The staff at this location are incompetent. Wasted our time and money. Greenbriar and South Riding locations are the best in the area.
May 10, 2025 · Brendan VasquezI’ve had multiple disappointing experiences with Banfield. Not only do they fail to answer the phone during business hours (over an hour past opening), but it’s also extremely difficult to get timely appointments. On top of that, they often force drop-off appointments, which is incredibly inconvenient and stressful for both me and my dog. Most recently, their lack of responsiveness left me no choice but to take my dog to urgent care (making the optimum wellness plan useless during a very stressful time) Pet owners deserve a vet office that values communication and provides accessible, reliable care. I cannot recommend Banfield based on these repeated issues.
Dec 26, 2024 · Kara BYet again, I can't say thank you enough to this wonderful group. My fur baby is getting older & has some health/skin issues & everytime I call they are always there to help. I will forever return again & again. You couldn't ask for a better group to take care of your fur baby.
Jan 21, 2025 · Kitty RamboI have been very patient with this location for the last 2 years and I can no longer hold back. It starts with the constant turnover of front office staff who are NOT trained at all. How can a corporation hire front office people that do NOT know simple vet reception? On top of that they DO NOT check emails. I have to constantly be reaching out to them for test results, prescription approvals, simple vet questions, etc. I also agree with another reviewer who said if you do not request that they provide water to your pet, they will remain in a cage all day until you pick them up. That's insane and inhumane! If I knew all Banfields would operate like this I would have never brought my pets here. Lastly it is true what other reviews say about having to pay for wellness plans after your pets pass away. I experienced this myself last year. This is a horrible policy and corporate greed. I would have rated zero stars if I could but Dr.Edwards is a good vet. Its just annoying how the front staff and him are never on the same page.
