Banfield Pet Hospital Introduce
For many residents of Washington, their pets are more than just animals; they're cherished members of the family. When it comes to their health and well-being, finding a trusted and reliable veterinary partner is a top priority. Banfield Pet Hospital, located in Vancouver, WA, stands as a prominent choice for pet owners seeking comprehensive, proactive, and accessible veterinary care. Unlike a traditional, independent clinic, Banfield is a part of a larger network of veterinary hospitals, which allows them to offer a wide range of services and resources designed to keep your pet healthy from a young age through their senior years. This facility operates with a focus on preventative medicine, recognizing that catching and treating potential health issues early on is the best way to ensure your pet lives a long and happy life.
Banfield's approach to pet care is rooted in the belief that a proactive strategy is more effective than a reactive one. They offer structured wellness plans known as Optimum Wellness Plans® (OWPs), which bundle essential preventive services into affordable monthly or yearly payments. These plans include everything from comprehensive exams and vaccinations to diagnostic testing and nutrition advice, providing a clear roadmap for your pet's healthcare journey. This business model is designed to simplify pet ownership by making consistent, high-quality care both manageable and affordable. The clinic also maintains an in-house laboratory and veterinary pharmacy, ensuring that diagnostic results are returned quickly and necessary medications are available on-site. This seamless integration of services reduces stress and wait times, which is a major benefit for both pets and their owners.
The clinic is located at 13009 NE Hwy 99 Ste 211, Vancouver, WA 98686, USA. Its location is strategically placed to serve the greater Vancouver community and surrounding areas. As a part of a larger commercial complex, the facility offers a wheelchair-accessible parking lot and restroom, prioritizing convenience and ease of access for all clients. The location's layout and amenities are designed to ensure a smooth and comfortable visit. While the physical address is a central point, a key aspect of Banfield's service is its structured appointment system. To ensure that every pet receives the full attention of the veterinary team, appointments are required or highly recommended. This practice minimizes wait times and allows the staff to prepare for each pet's specific needs, creating a more personalized and efficient experience for everyone involved.
Reaching the hospital is straightforward, whether you're coming from the immediate neighborhood or a bit farther away. The accessible location and parking make it easy to get your pet in and out of the clinic with minimal stress. If you need to make an appointment or have any questions about the services, you can contact them at (360) 574-5140. The staff is ready to assist you in scheduling a visit and providing more details about the care they offer. The emphasis on appointments also allows for better communication between the pet owner and the veterinary team, enabling a more collaborative approach to your pet’s health. The staff can guide you through the process, from a routine check-up to a more complex procedure, ensuring you are well-informed every step of the way.

July 13 · Joseph in PortlandiaThe care team has been great in the past. The only downfall is the constant rolling of vets. Just when you get use to one, they get relocated and a new one starts. So a 'trust' relationship between the vet, pet and owner, is never established. I feel that's extremely vital.
June 20 · Sharmain CanteroOnly reason they get any stars is because the actual vets and techs are great. BUT the reception staff is condescending every time I go in. They frequently add services that are not mentioned or requested and then argue with you about it.I bought a $90/month wellness plan for my dog and still ended up coming out of pocket almost every time.I have a reactive dog who has to be sedated for extensive exams, the vet had noted he is okay not to be drugged for quick visits if im in there and he wears a cone, the receptionist tried to argue with me like her word supersedes the doctor.NEVER AGAIN GOING TO BANFIELD. They care more about upselling and corporate greed than effective care.Tried to cancel my wellness plan because I'm dissatisfied with their service, and they said they couldn't cancel in store, I had to call a number, which I did and was told that if I wanted any exception I had to speak to the Practice Manager, called to talk to the manager and the receptionist again tried to deflect my call and decide whether I could speak to the manager. This place is the puppy mill of veterinarians, save yourself the hassle and go to a local/private clinic.
July 16 · Andie KoellingI took my dog here when she was very sick and was treated very poorly. The tech was trying to rip my dog away from me, out of my arms. It was rude and weird, and I am never going back. I am giving them 2 stars because they did have an appointment available rather quickly.
June 20 · Karlina AyersHorrible care communication. My 1.5 year old cat passed after having a minor surgery there for a blockage. They kept telling me everything was normal and sending her home. On day 3 took her to ER after leaving Banfield where she passed hours later. And I'm still being charged for their pet insurance even though they were to blame for her death.
