Banfield Pet Hospital Introduce
For pet owners in Las Vegas, choosing a veterinary care provider is a significant decision that impacts the health and happiness of their beloved companions. Banfield Pet Hospital, located at 9775 W Charleston Blvd, has been a recognized name in the local veterinary landscape. As part of a larger national network of hospitals, Banfield aims to provide accessible and comprehensive care through various services, including their widely promoted Optimum Wellness Plans®.
When considering a veterinary practice, local residents often weigh factors such as the range of services offered, the convenience of the location, and, crucially, the quality of care and communication from the veterinary team. Banfield Pet Hospital endeavors to address these needs by offering a variety of medical services and preventive care options designed to support pets through different life stages. Their model often emphasizes proactive health management through their wellness plans, which are designed to cover routine care needs.
However, like any large-scale service provider, experiences can vary. Recent customer feedback suggests that while some individuals, such as those who appreciate specific vet technicians like Leah for her "love and compassion," find positive interactions, others have faced significant challenges. These challenges notably include prolonged diagnostic processes for complex conditions, concerns about the efficacy of treatment plans, and issues related to the cancellation policies of their wellness programs. This article aims to provide a balanced and factual overview for Las Vegas locals to consider when evaluating Banfield Pet Hospital for their pet's veterinary needs.

The hospital offers a comprehensive suite of services, from preventive care like vaccinations and wellness exams to diagnostics and surgical procedures, aiming to cover a pet's health needs throughout its life. Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
After bringing in my cat THREE months ago, for a sneeze issue, month after month, medications after medications, visits after visits, she got WORSE. She got a huge mass on the side of her face, and a weepy eye. After she started bleeding, profusely, from her nose,I took her to AllAboutCats, and within ONE day she was better. ONE DAY!Further, to add insult to injury, their "wellness plan," to which I paid for more than FIVE YEARS, is now telling me if I cancel, I owe THEM money! Can you imagine? You almost killed my cat, but you want more money, after I came out of pocket, for months!GO ANYWHERE ELSE - THEY ARE UNQUALIFIED, DON'T CARE, AND WANT TO BEND YOU OVER A BARREL FOR EVERY LAST PENNY.UPDATE: Well, whaddaya know...I emailed them, AS REQUESTED, and they promised to get back to me "in 3-5 business days." Get your shocked face ready: NO ONE EVER CONTACTED ME! Just more of the same BS, and now my cat is faced with scans and surgeries, because THEIR CLINICS DON'T KNOW WTF THEY'RE DOING!UPDATE: Had to put our baby down, yesterday. Turns out, she had lymphoma. I will NEVER forgive Banfield, for treating her for colds and allergies, and never bothering to find out what was actually wrong, for months. Perhaps, if they had, we'd have had more time with our precious pet.
Mar 03, 2025 · Reba RocketLeah, the vet tech is amazing!! She always treats my dog, Draymond, with such love and compassion. I completely trust her with all my dogs.
Jan 23, 2025 · Cheryl KakuI changed from 5 Star to 1 star because my cat went in for his yearly checkup perfectly healthy and happy and came home with a spinal injury that resulted in having to put him down 2 weeks later as his body began to shut down. $800 in bills trying to find out what happened to him at another location only to have to come back and allow them to end his suffering. Of course they deny everything but he went in able to run up and down his floor to ceiling cat tree and came home stumbling and ultimately lost use of his legs. Now I understand why the woman that gave him back to me in his carrier was so insistent on telling me that he's going to be woozy from the sedatives he was given unlike all the other times when it wasn't an issue. He was my constant companion for 18 years and I can only say that I wish those that hurt him recieve in life all that they deserve. This is the last picture of him, taken at another location as we waited for the Vet to arrive and kill him to stop his suffering. I will never forgive those that hurt my baby boy.

Oct 10, 2018 · Mike “Tunergeek”Dr. Anderson is absolutely amazing and so very caring! Had to take my 89 year old dad's dog in today for his ears and he is on a fixed income. She worked with him and now his best friend is on his way to being his happy self. The staff is super friendly and got us in right away. I can't thank them enough for helping my dad
