Bond Vet - Williamsburg Reviews
We love Bond Vet Williamsburg. Dr. Lanni is our regular vet for our 2 kitties and our dog. He is super kind, very compassionate and truly listens to our concerns. He does a great job giving us thorough explanations and has always put us at ease, especially for our big cat who seems to have a minor health issue every couple months. The office is very clean and the rest of the staff is very friendly. We highly recommend Dr. Lanni and this location :)
Jun 25, 2025 · Madeline GoodwillI’ve taken my dog to Bond Vet twice for emergency visits, and both times the experience was smooth and reassuring. The clinic is clean, efficient, and well-organized. He’s thorough in explaining what to look out for and offers practical, helpful suggestions. It’s clear he genuinely cares about your pet’s well-being, and my dog felt very at ease with him.Highly recommend Bond Vet, and especially Dr. Lanni. So grateful for the care they’ve provided!
May 22, 2025 · Shao-Jo Lin (Shao)I had to euthanize my pug of 14 years today. I hardly ever write reviews. Bond Vet in Williamsburg made euthanizing my little guy as nice of an experience as you can have. This was my first time going to Bond Vet and when I arrived the receptionist helped me with the door and then brought me to a private room to hang with my dog for as long as I wanted. I was blown away when there was no talk of finances. The vet was extremely kind. He was genuinely nice and talked me through the procedure. They told me the room was reserved for me all day. I just wanted to get it done fast because it was too painful. After the vet euthanized my dog he kissed him on the head. It was so sweet. I was a blubbering mess the whole time but their compassion helped me know I was making the right decision. I highly recommend Bond Vet in Williamsburg. The receptionist, vet and vet assistant was extremely nice and caring. On top of all the compassion the receptionist found me a $50 savings. I ended up paying $198 in total. I did bring my dog home without any special packages. This was extremely fair price as I am a single mom who takes care of my father too. Other places in Brooklyn wanted double the price.
May 14, 2025 · Elaan LukasiewiczI've taken my kitties and giant breed dog to many vets in several states and Bond Vet Williamsburg is my favorite. The visit process is always fast and easy, the prices are great for NYC and on par with similar service in Seattle and Philadelphia. All vets and vet techs we've seen have been so kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable.
Oct 24, 2024 · Raine WalkerWith the exception of Dr. Lanni, the vets at this clinic just don’t do their jobs well at all. A few examples:I took my young cat in with chronic diarrhea. They ordered tests looking for potential parasites, but then misread the results (which were positive). We tried out tons of different foods on the assumption that it was an allergy. I only found out because I kept calling the clinic for advice and a different doctor at Bond Vet read his file and told me he had already tested positive.I should have fired them there, but I didn’t. Next time, I brought the same cat in because he was having trouble breathing. Vet told me there was nothing they could do for 3-5 days while they waited on some test results. After a day of him not eating, I was panicked and went back and demanded some kind of treatment. This time I had Dr. Lanni, who told me there actually was something we could do for him to ease his suffering and to help him eat. He immediately gave him an antibiotic and a steroid, which cleared up his symptoms and he started eating again.I am currently dealing with the same issue with that cat because the vet that ordered his tests (which were positive for a bacterial infection) went on vacation and his replacement, who read his file and knew he had an infection, didn’t want to fill a prescription while the other doctor was out. She told me that if he was doing better on Dr. Lanni’s meds, it could wait.Well, It couldn’t wait. Dr. Lanni’s medicine wore off and he went back to not eating and struggling to breathe almost overnight. I called four or five times over the next two days, but couldn’t get ahold of anyone who was authorized to fill a prescription for doxycycline, despite repeatedly being told that a doctor or nurse would call me back. I finally lost it and threatened to pull my business unless they filled his scrip by the end of the day. It got filled thirty minutes later. All this to say, unless you happen to get Dr. Lanni, the vets here are basically useless and only care about upselling you. They will force you to hound them in order to get them to do any kind of follow up. Even worse: all phone calls go through their corporate office, so you can’t speak to your actual doctors, you can only request that they call you back and leave increasingly frantic messages asking for assistance. If you want a vet that cares about your pet’s well being and knows how to read a chart, take them to another vet.
