Catawba Heights Animal Hospital Reviews
I’m so happy I found this location. We live close by and have been looking for a vet near our house. One of our cats is sick and they squeezed us in right away and were absolutely great with her. I look forward to switching all our animals over and be closer to home.
Dec 14, 2024 · A SnowNot customer focused. Leave you waiting without telling you what’s holding things up. When I complained I got no explanation or apology. They basically don’t seem to care. I was taking my mom’s dog for an allergy shot. I have 4 animals and drive to Ironton for vet services. Catawba Heights has a bad reputation and I see why.
May 27, 2025 · ShelleyThe staff is always kind and eager to help. My aging dog had a growth behind his eye and Dr Wallace removed all of the cancer. He has adapted and is doing so well now. He plays with the other dogs and is a happy boy. I'm so grateful.Thank you Kayla (vet tech) for your kind words and taking care of Romeo!
May 24, 2022 · LouAnn BarnesVisited over a decade ago. Large gauge needle used on my dog where a small one would probably have surficed. I asked the vet to perhaps considet a smaller one next time. He responded with what I considered to be condescension along with a suggestion to go elsewhere. I did.It wasn't his choice of needles. It was his choice of words that put me off.I see that Dr White is no longer there. As such, I've amended the review upward: 4 stars. Even so, buy his practice...get his reputation. Also, I was placed on hold for 8+ minutes today, August 22nd, 2024, as I shopped for a new vet. No harm, no foul.... at least for today & and super pleasant when they picked up. 'Better, however, if I had been called back rather than placed on hold that long.
Jun 26, 2025 · Joel HorwichI love Dr. Wallace and the staff at Catawba Heights Animal hospital. I’ve been taking all of my family pets there for over 20 years. She is a great asset to the Belmont-Mt. Holly area. The best way to judge a vet and staff? A happy relaxed dog who loved the attention.
