UrgentVet Introduce
As pet parents in North Carolina, we understand that our furry, scaly, or feathered family members can sometimes have unexpected health concerns. While your regular veterinarian is your primary partner for ongoing wellness, there are moments when an immediate, non-life-threatening issue arises outside of typical office hours, or when you simply can't wait for a scheduled appointment. This is where a dedicated urgent care veterinary facility like UrgentVet steps in, providing a crucial bridge between routine care and a full-blown emergency room. For pet owners in the Belmont area and beyond, UrgentVet offers a vital service, ensuring your beloved companions receive prompt attention when they need it most.
UrgentVet in Belmont is specifically designed to handle those "in-between" situations – when your pet is sick or injured, but not critically ill enough for an emergency room, yet needs attention sooner than your regular vet can provide. This model focuses on delivering efficient and compassionate care for a wide range of common ailments and injuries, offering peace of mind to local pet owners facing unexpected health scares. Their mission is to provide accessible, high-quality immediate veterinary care, minimizing stress for both pets and their humans during concerning times.
Finding accessible and convenient veterinary care is a top priority for pet owners. UrgentVet is strategically located at 600 Park St A, Belmont, NC 28012, USA. This address places it within easy reach for residents throughout Belmont and the surrounding communities in Gaston County and beyond. Park Street is generally a well-known area, suggesting straightforward navigation for those unfamiliar with the immediate vicinity. The accessibility of this location means that when your pet suddenly falls ill or sustains an injury, you won't have to travel far, which is crucial when every minute counts for your pet's comfort and well-being. Its position in Belmont makes it a local solution for immediate care, reducing the need for longer drives to larger cities during a stressful situation.
UrgentVet specializes in providing focused, immediate care for conditions that require prompt attention but are not life-threatening emergencies. It's important to remember that UrgentVet is not a substitute for a full-service emergency hospital for critical conditions (like severe trauma, difficulty breathing, or active seizures), nor is it for routine wellness checks like vaccinations or spay/neuter procedures. They excel in bridging the gap for urgent, non-life-threatening issues.

UrgentVet Reviews
We took our 13 weeks old puppy to UrgentVet Belmont. They were quick, thorough, and so kind. Knowledgeable about the concerns we had, and they were able run quick test and prescribe the medicines we needed to get our puppy healthy. Highly recommend using them for any concern big or small!
Jun 04, 2025 · Katherine StimpsonWe brought our cat into Urgent Vet this afternoon. We were greeted by Malia, a very nice lady. She checked us in and brought us back to a room right away and gathered all the information on what was going on with our cat. Next the Vet/Meghan came in and did an examination. She performed a quick and unpleasant procedure, but it was definitely for our cat’s benefit. He was much happier afterwards. I cannot say enough good things about our visit to Urgent Vet. Malia and the Vet were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were in and out in no time with medication in hand to help our cat heal. I would highly recommend Urgent Vet. They made an unpleasant situation with our cat an overall good situation by the good experience that we received.

May 10, 2025 · Burgess MooodyFebruary 2, 2025 we had to say goodbye to our fur baby. He was 16 years and 9 months old. We are so thankful for the time we had with him. He was a sweet loving orange tabby named Tiger. My son CJ loved this cat more than I've ever seen someone love and animal. He wasn't just a cat, he was family. When we walked in to the vet, we were hoping that something could be done to save our baby... Tiger had stopped eating a few days prior and had lost a lot of weight, and became very lethargic. Unfortunately, we found out he had severe mouth lesions, possibly cancer, and there was nothing that could be done. They were so caring and I can't thank them enough for allowing to stay there until we were ready. to let go. They put us in a very peaceful private room and allowed us to stay as long as we needed to. We were there for 2 and 1/2 hours before we decided it was time to say goodbye. I would recommend this vet to anyone seeking the truth and someone that truly cares. They are such a wonderful and compassionate team. Thank you guys for everything. RIP Tiger... You will never be forgotten!!!The Bollinger and Ballard family
