Boulevard Pet Clinic Introduce
In the vibrant and fast-paced environment of Studio City, California, pet owners are often seeking a reliable and straightforward veterinary practice for their animal companions. Boulevard Pet Clinic, located on Ventura Boulevard, presents itself as an option for local residents in need of veterinary services. This article aims to provide a clear and factual overview of the clinic to help you, as a California pet owner, make an informed decision about your pet's healthcare. It’s important to understand the services and approach of any clinic, and Boulevard Pet Clinic offers a variety of services to address common pet health needs.
The clinic's approach to veterinary care, as seen in available public information, is characterized by a direct and focused style. One customer review highlights that Dr. Schwartz "knows what he's doing" and is "very direct and doesn't waste time." For pet owners who appreciate an efficient and no-nonsense approach to medical care, this could be a valuable quality. The emphasis is on getting the job done effectively, from a routine procedure like a teeth cleaning to more complex needs like arthritis treatment. This style of practice can be appealing to those who prefer a clear medical diagnosis and treatment plan without unnecessary delays. The clinic also shows a willingness to involve pet owners in the care process, as one reviewer mentioned being allowed to assist with an X-ray to keep their dog calm, which demonstrates a degree of flexibility and client collaboration.
However, it is also important to consider the full range of available public feedback. Another review describes a very different and negative experience, criticizing the vet's demeanor and stating that the animal was treated poorly and muzzled for no reason. This perspective is a crucial part of the information available to the public and highlights that the direct style of the practice may not be a good fit for every pet or every pet owner. It underscores the importance of a pet owner’s research and personal preference when choosing a veterinarian. The reviews present two very different experiences, and this article provides these insights to assist in your decision-making process.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Doctor Schwartz and his team are great. The team are sweet and check in and out is great and easy. Dr. Schwartz isn't warm and fuzzy, but he knows what he's doing. He's very direct and doesn't waste time. When my dog wouldn't stay still for an X-ray, he allowed me to come into the room to hold her down and keep her calm. When my 14 y/o cat needed his teeth cleaned, Dr Schwartz did the procedure that day, with no unnecessary extractions. He also treated my cat's arthritis.
March 15 · Stacia MomburgAbsolute worst vet experience ever. Miserable old man that clearly no longer has an interest in caring for animals. Just moved from out of state and needed a new vet. This definitely won't be it. Treated my dog like he bit him or was aggressive which he wasn't and has never been towards a human being. Muzzled him for literally no reason. Scratched his face in multiple places when putting the muzzle on or removing it. Went for an ear infection literally saw the vet for less than 10 minutes with zero explanation of anything and what likely traumatized my dog. $229 for that. Did not even have an opportunity to ask one single question i had. Never again. This guy is washed up, can suggest any more strongly to spare your pet from this guy.
October 31 · Pete RivosecchiI would like to let everyone know about the exceptional experience I have had at Boulevard Pet Clinic. My 7+ year old rescue cat, Max has gotten an upgrade on quality of life. I have taken Max to 5 different vets and two specialists attempting to figure why his eye was always weeping, and his nose always running and to attempt to treat it.Dr. Schwartz listened to what I had to say and diagnosed a simple, yet chronic ear infection. The poor cat has had this infection for 7 years. It took one 7 day course of medicated ear drops to clear it up.I told the doctor "I brought you cat and you gave me a kitten." He's playing and running around the house incessantly now, his appetite is great. And I found out he can meow.I can't sing the praises higher for Dr. Schwartz and the Boulevard Pet Clinic team.We have been taking our cats and dogs to the doctor for years now and can't recommend him more.
March 12 · Ben RutterWorst vet experience we've ever had. The doctor didn't even take 10 seconds to meet our dog before muzzling him (which he's NEVER needed at the vet before and will now be terrified of in the future). He didn't ask us any questions, didn't even give us the opportunity to tell him about our dog. It felt like we were at the deli counter - just a number to churn out ASAP. When they brought our dog back from flushing his ear, he had scratches all over his face because the muzzle was so tight. All the doctor said was "1 squirt a day for 7 days." And left. Didn't explain what the infection was, what might've caused it, or anything at all.If you're not interested in dealing with animals, get out of the business. We will never go back there.
October 30 · Hayley HoganStaff and doctor were friendly. Relatively easy to get a quick appointment. The vet quoted us twice as much as other area vets to do the same procedure. Immediately wanted to muzzle our dog who is the sweetest, most gentle creature you'll ever want to meet. I lifted all 50 lbs of her up, put her on the table so he could examine her. She's a rescue, as a puppy we trained her not to be afraid of anyone touching her anywhere on her body. DVMs have commended us on doing that as she is very easy to work with.
