Kinder 4 Rescue Low Cost Pet Clinic Introduce
When a pet faces a sudden health crisis, finding an emergency veterinarian service that is both accessible and trustworthy is a top priority for pet owners in California. Kinder 4 Rescue Low Cost Pet Clinic is an emergency veterinarian service located in North Hollywood, positioned to serve the immediate needs of animals in the area. This article provides an overview of the clinic’s location, services, and public information to assist pet owners in their research. It is vital for any pet parent to be well-informed before making a decision on where to take their animal for care, especially in a time of crisis.
The practice is an emergency service, which means it is designed to handle urgent situations that require immediate attention. In such high-stress scenarios, transparency, communication, and clear policies are essential. The provided public information includes very detailed and serious concerns from past clients. These reviews describe experiences that include alleged unprofessional conduct, a lack of communication, and issues with billing and service transparency. One review, in particular, alleges a deeply traumatic experience involving a family’s cat, with claims of discriminatory and threatening behavior. Another review recounts a different and equally troubling experience, alleging a scam related to aftercare costs and a dispute that escalated to the point of calling 911. These accounts are a crucial part of the publicly available record and provide a perspective that is central to understanding the nature of this particular business.
In light of this information, this article is intended to provide a factual and neutral overview. It is essential for prospective clients to take these public reviews into serious consideration, along with any other research they conduct. The experiences shared by former clients highlight the importance of obtaining clear, written statements of all services and costs, and understanding the clinic's policies before any payment or procedure is undertaken. This due diligence is critical for ensuring the safety and well-being of your pet and for protecting yourself from potential disputes. The information presented here is to inform, not to recommend, and serves as a tool for local pet owners in their vital search for a veterinary partner.
Kinder 4 Rescue Low Cost Pet Clinic is located at 5308 Vineland Ave, North Hollywood, CA 91601, USA. This address places it within a busy and accessible neighborhood, making it a viable option for pet owners in North Hollywood and the surrounding areas. Its location in a well-trafficked part of Los Angeles County provides a degree of convenience for those seeking immediate emergency care for their pets. In an emergency, every moment counts, and a centrally located clinic can be a crucial first step in getting a pet the help they need. The accessibility of the location is a practical benefit for those in the area.
Based on the provided public data, the clinic offers a few key features related to its accessibility and payment options. It has a restroom available for clients, which is a standard amenity. The clinic also accepts various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments, which provides flexibility for clients. According to public information, appointments are recommended. This suggests that while it is an emergency service, calling ahead may be the best way to ensure a pet is seen in a timely manner. However, given the nature of the clinic's business as an emergency service, it is important to confirm with the clinic directly on their protocol for walk-ins versus scheduled appointments in a critical situation.
While the provided data does not list specific services offered beyond its classification as an emergency veterinarian service, a clinic with this designation would typically handle urgent and critical medical needs. The services would likely include immediate care for injuries, sudden illnesses, and other life-threatening conditions. The primary purpose of such a clinic is to stabilize a pet and provide necessary medical intervention outside of regular business hours. Pet owners should be prepared for the specialized nature of an emergency clinic and understand that it is different from a general veterinary practice. For a comprehensive list of specific treatments, direct contact with the clinic is necessary. The public reviews, however, mention a C-section and a surgery, which suggests that the clinic handles surgical procedures related to emergencies.
The highlights and features of Kinder 4 Rescue Low Cost Pet Clinic, as described in public reviews, are complex and mixed. While the clinic's purpose is to provide emergency veterinary care, the testimonials from former clients raise significant and serious concerns. These accounts must be considered as a primary feature of the clinic's public profile.
- Allegations of Unprofessional and Cruel Behavior: The reviews describe alleged instances of staff members, specifically Lauren Kinder, engaging in unprofessional, discriminatory, and threatening behavior. One account alleges a cat was taken and not returned, causing immense emotional distress.
- Claims of Scams and Lack of Transparency: A reviewer alleges being scammed by the clinic regarding aftercare costs and services that were not included in the original price. This review emphasizes the importance of getting everything in writing and getting copies of all documents.
- Poor Communication and Long Wait Times: Customers report a lack of communication regarding their pet's status and extremely long wait times, even after an appointment was made. The reviews suggest a disregard for the client's time and stress.
- Focus on Money: The reviews repeatedly claim that the clinic's primary motivation is money, with accusations of financial exploitation during a time of crisis and desperation.
These reviews are a significant part of the public information available about the clinic and present a serious set of warnings for any pet owner considering using their services. They highlight the importance of client experiences as a key feature of a business, particularly in a field that requires trust and compassion. For any California pet owner, these firsthand accounts provide a critical perspective that goes beyond the basic facts of location and service type.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1On August 14 , I took my cat — a member of our family for over 5 years — to Kinnder4Rescue for an emergency C-section. She was in labor and needed immediate medical attention. My son dropped her off at 8:00 AM, LAUREN KINDER pressured my 16-year-old son — who suffers from severe depression and anxiety — to sign documents. Despite assurances, we received no updates all day.At 3:00 PM, LAUREN told my son that the cat was a “stray” and demanded $3,000 to release her. When I called to intervene, the woman laughed over the phone and told me to “bring your green card to the clinic” if I wanted the cat back. They refused to release her and claimed she had been sent to a shelter, but when we checked, she was not there. Her current location is unknown, and we are deeply worried for her safety. This entire situation caused tremendous emotional trauma, especially to my son, who now feels hopeless, responsible, and devastated. The clinic’s behavior was cruel, unprofessional, and discriminatory. We can't find out beautiful baby anywhere .
August 15 · ????? Pz.DONT GO HERE.LAUREL- shame on you. Your threats to sue me (and literally anyone else speaking honestly about how bad this place is) is insanity. The best defense against slander is that it's true.Where do I even begin? Before spending any money here, make sure you get a clearly written statement of what all is included for the price! Do not let them scam you into paying for some surgery that then does not include significant after care critical for their healing. They may shock you with their low prices upfront that you can't beat anywhere else, and prey on you because you are desperate .. but then end up telling you later on that to continue the vet treatment necessary for proper care it is going to be additional costs that they can set at whatever price they want -which can total far more than any quote you originally got overtime. They scammed me. GET COPIES OF EVERYTHING BEFORE PAYING OR SIGNING ANYTHING!!! Make sure it's 100% clear.Be prepared to wait hours upon hours to be seen or helped, they will blame other more critical emergencies and small staffing (so they can save money and help you save money too bullshit). Be prepared for little to no communication on the well-being of your animal after surgery, they do zero follow ups at all! Once they have your money, they do not care.I spent $5000 here and was clearly told that all aftercare was included. Attached picture of the discharge paper that even says weekly bandage changes 4+ times. Due to this office being extremely far from my home and having to miss work to adhere to their tight schedule, I had some of the vetting done at my personal local vet office. I texted Kinder4rescue number and clearly told them I was coming far and missing work and they told me OK. Come. Attached a photo. Once I arrived, they took my dog to the back and I proceeded to wait in my car in the parking lot for, I kid you not, 3 hours. I went inside to ask an ETA and was told my dog hadn't even been seen yet. I simply came in for the final bandage change and x-ray (x-ray wasn't written on the paper but any surgeon or vet would know it's absolutely necessary for this process) they told me I had to pay for it additionally and it wasn't included! I was furious. I asked for my dog back and a refund so I can get her seen asap elsewhere (since they clearly got my money and now didn't respect or care about anything after)*To confirm the bandage change is 100% written on paperwork. X-ray, which consciously you know damn well is also included and now magically is not, was not written.. shame on you guys. She told me to leave once I got agitated. I asked for my dog back. She told me once I exited she would hand her over. I didn't trust that one bit because their door has a lock and she easily could've locked me out and kept my dog. I called 911 to report this scam and to mediate my dog being returned to me. Once my dog was returned I noticed she had been left in a back cage for 3 hours unattended and unseen. Evil negligent people here who only care about money and scamming you. As soon as I got home, I took pictures of all of the paperwork that I have and proof. They also said that they spayed my dog on the paperwork which is included in the overall price they charged me and my dog was 100% not spayed. Again, I can't stress it enough. I have proof of all this and attached all of the pictures.I also wanted to finally add that the dog that I am talking about above is a rescue off of the streets in LA that was left abandoned in a kennel, legs snapped, protecting her five puppies, two were sadly deceased. I desperately raised the money using a GoFundMe to not only save her life, but give her a new shot at it and show her what love is! This isn't just some dog. This isn't just another sad story. I am Sunny's voice and way you treated her was not kind. I trusted this office and they really really deeply hurt me.
July 12 · S KNot sure how to feel. In february 6th at 8:30 AM i took my kitty there. he had been suffering with a urinary blockage. When i went in they did the blood tests and x-rays. everything came out normal and they said they could unblock him and drain as much urine out. He had to spend 3 nights in the hospital. They gave us so much hope. At a 7 PM that same day i got a call saying that he was actually not doing well and they had to perform surgery on him. The surgery was $3000 additionally from the $800 i had already spent that whole week. I was devastated bc i knew i didn’t have the money and they didn’t accept any other type of payment except for care credit and scratch pay which i didn’t qualify for since i am barely 18. I knew that i had to make the choice to either put him down or surrender him. basically meaning they would perform the surgery but they would put him up for adoption and i wouldn’t be able to get any type of information about him ever again. it was the hardest decision i had ever made. I love my cat so much he was my first pet ever i had him since he was a baby and he brought so much joy to me and my family as well as our others cats life. I made the choice to surrender him. They told us we could still get some information about how he was and when he was going to be put up for adoption but when we called they were just rude and said they couldn’t tell us anything. Honestly the loss of my cat affected me so much. It also affected my other cat since they were super close and my cat up to that point was doing fine until we gave up on our cat. He stopped eating and had signs of depression. He also wouldn’t sleep and would just lay down all day. They not eating or drinking water got so bad. I didn’t have any money left to take him to the vet since i had to gotten fired from my job. 2 weeks later he ended up passing away. I wasn’t able to pay for a burial or cremation. i was truly devastated now i had lost both my cats in less than a month apart. I don’t wish this pain to anybody.I don’t know they will ever read this or not but my baby’s birthday is approaching. He would be turning 1 years old this month. i just wish i could be there with him and see him on his birthday. I wish i could’ve hugged him and petted him for longer that last time i saw him. I cry everyday for him. I know that God is taking care of him now and that he will find him a lonely and safe place to live. He will always be loved by us.I will live some pictures of him. He is a very sweet and loving cat. I think everyone deserve to experience that love at least once in their lifetime.I love you my sweet Angel forever and always. ❤️EDIT: On May 5 it was supposed to be my angels birthday (the day he came home with me) i was so sad just thinking him. I think about him everyday and i really wish that the family he is with now (hopefully) will celebrate his birthday ❤️ i miss him so much every day i keep having dreams that he comes back to me. I pray to God that he willbe happy and healthy and safe bc that is all that matters to me.I would like to same some more pictures from when i first go him until our last day together. I know it wasn’t a year but for the time i had him i was the happiest person ever.
May 09 · leslu ramirezToday August 13, my 16-year-old son (a minor)brought in our pregnant cat at 8:00 AM. Thewoman in charge forced him to sign paperswithout explaining anything - no treatmentplan, no costs, no consent details his dad was wirh him but he doesn't speak English. It is now nearly 10 hours later and my cathas received ZERO medical attention. She issick, pregnant, and suffering. LAUREL KINDER isrefusing to give my cat back, demanding$3,000, and even mocking me about myimmigration status, telling me to "bring mygreen card" if I want my cat returned,This is animal neglect, financialexploitation, and blatant discrimination. Inmy opinion, she is holding my cat hostagefor money while denying her life-savingcare.If you value your pets and your dignity, stayfar away from this place. We just called the police and definitely we will seek legal advice .* LAUREL KINDER SENT MY BABY TO A SHELTER , WE WENT TO LOOK FOR HER AND WE CAN'T FIND HER, SHE BLOCKED ME AND NOW SHE IS NOT ANSWERING MY PHONE CALLS.
August 15 · Erick.I brought my cat to 4 different vets who said nothing much was wrong. This place found that my cat had had a needle in his throat for weeks. He’d still be in pain without them. Special thanks to Laurel and the techs who thought to ask why my gagging cat hadn’t been xrayed in the throat. I also appreciated that she told it straight. After good bedside manner and false calm led to a failure to actually diagnose my cat, I needed someone capable and to-the-point. Thank you, team. You saved him.
