★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We’re so grateful for Bridgetown. After being turned away by multiple emergency vets, they told us to come in right away when our cat had a sudden health crisis. The team was kind, calm, and thorough from the start. Our cat was hospitalized for 3 nights, and they kept us updated the entire time. Dr. Mick and the rest of the staff have continued to provide exceptional, compassionate care. We trust them completely.
May 08 · Kayla KingWe ended up at Bridgetown when our oldest kitty Ziggy was experiencing a severe fungal infection and the ER we typically went to refused to take her back and triage properly due to her stress induced aggression. They were so caring and careful with her, and made sure she was comfortable and well cared for in her last days. They were so kind to my husband and I when discussing care options, and were very honest in the most kind way when euthanasia was discussed. We unfortunately had to say good bye to her, but got to take as much time as needed in their special rooms and got to be with her the whole time. The whole team was incredibly wonderful with us every step of the way. I was even grateful when receiving a condolences card a month after her passing. I cannot recommend the team at Bridgetown more. If we ever need emergency care for any of our other babies, we will absolutely be taking them to Bridgetown from now on.
August 25 · Shell LinnThis place was referred to me by a vet in Stayton. My dog was in severe pain and unable to walk. Everyone that works there from reception to vet techs to the vets seemed to genuinely care for the animals. My dog ended up having to stay for 3 days , but he was in the best care ! They were able to figure out and treat what’s was wrong when no one else could and it saved him. Very grateful that it all worked out. Reading the reviews just now I’m shocked to see anyone had a bad experience as we had quite the opposite. My dog even had his own little tablet to watch scooby doo and they sent me pictures of him while he was there. ❤️
August 30 · ME MEI can't express how appreciative I am of Veterinarian Dr. Chloe Chaidez at Bridgetown! Chloe and the whole staff here were hands down one of the best Emergency Veterinary hospitals I have ever had to take my K9 to. She was compassionate & empathetic, highly communicative, and helped give me options to treat my K9!Backstory: My 4-year-old GSP had a UTI and we went to our normal primary care provider and got meds & testing. Days later my K9 was struggling to urinate, blood was in his urine, and he was in a lot of pain. I then took him that night July 2nd at 10pm to Dove in Downtown PDX (we waited 9 hours to get seen). They took my money - highly overcharged for services, told me he has bladder stones & crystals blocking his urethra and needs surgery ASAP or his bladder will rupture, and if that happens, I will have to put him down. I was quoted $27-29k for the surgery and $4k for a catheter for temporary relief. We then went to VCA right after that morning of July 3 at 9am for a second opinion and brought his files over. They had to conduct their own tests as well. Charged a ridiculous price for emergency vet services and gave me a quote for $23-26k for the surgery and $3k for a catheter. At this point I felt I was going to have to put my best friend down, I couldn't handle that type of financial burden. My emotions were running high with the decision to put him down as I couldn't cover that bill. I called his primary care again, and they gave me Bridgetown as a recommendation. When we arrived at Bridgetown at around 1pm, the staff was accommodating, understanding, and very straight forward. Dr. Chloe did a greater comprehensive exam then the prior 2 facilities and got my K9 a catheter for him to get temporary relief (for a fraction of the cost then what I was quoted - for just a catheter at the other 2 facilities). Dr. Chloe expressed her concerns and understood mine. She went above and beyond to give us options for treatment and to genuinely help us. Dr. Chloe is an angel on earth! By this time, it was 7pm and on the eve of July 4th. My K9 needed surgery. However, because it was a holiday weekend and their surgeons were booked up for the weekend, they recommended us to another Vet hospital that would take my dog that night for the surgery and also got me an affordable surgery quote (btw Bridgetown's surgery option if the surgeons were available were very reasonable and affordable as well). Dr. Chloe forwarded my pup's records and notified them we were on the way.Fast Forward: It's been a month and a few days since my best friend got his surgery. He is smiling, happy, and healthy again! I'm beyond thankful and blessed that we were recommended here! Navigating the whole process was stressful and emotional. However, Bridgetown and our veterinarian doctor were 110% committed to helping my pup get quality treatment and not price gouge us because we were desperate and in need of help. If I would have known about Bridgetown from the beginning, prior to the other two vet hospitals that we went to, the cost of those visits would have covered the cost for the surgery at Bridgetown. I can't thank Bridgetown, the staff, and Dr. Chloe enough or give them the praise they deserve for helping us! This Vet hospital is heaven sent. They are truly the gold standard on Emergency Vet Services; and how to treat you and your pets! If your pets need emergency services, I highly recommend Bridgetown Vet Emergency & Referral! Thank you!Love,Eli & Omar
August 08 · Omar OWe needed to get our dog, Kadie into the vet for an infection right away. We called a couple of vet emergency places, and the wait could have been hours and hours, Bridgetown Vet got us in really quick and once it was our appointment time they took us back right away. Everyone was so kind, and accommodating, and so friendly, and very clean. If we ever need an emergency vet again, we will definitely call them. Hoping we never have to though. :)It was a bit of a drive for us, but well worth it.
