A notable highlight of Broadview Animal Clinic is the wide range of services they offer, including care for exotic species and small mammals. This is a significant advantage for owners of pets beyond the typical cat or dog, who often struggle to find a qualified veterinarian. The clinic’s ability to handle everything from routine check-ups to complex surgical procedures and urgent care needs makes it a truly versatile resource. The inclusion of services like laser therapy and diagnostic imaging showcases their commitment to modern veterinary medicine and providing effective treatments. However, some customer feedback has pointed to areas for improvement. While many clients have positive experiences with the staff, some have expressed concerns about wait times and the level of communication. A review from a client who waited for a while and never got to speak with a vet directly before receiving a phone call about their pet's results highlights a potential issue with their process. The same client also expressed disappointment with a specific doctor's demeanor, describing it as curt and lacking compassion. This feedback suggests that while the clinic provides a broad range of services, the personal interaction can vary and may not always meet every client's expectations for empathy and communication.
What makes Broadview Animal Clinic a valuable choice for the community is its long history and comprehensive service list. The clinic's experience and broad range of offerings, from routine vaccinations to specialized care for exotic pets, make it a one-stop-shop for many pet owners. The availability of services like boarding and grooming also adds a layer of convenience that is not common in every clinic. The clinic's commitment to accessibility, with wheelchair-friendly features, is another significant benefit. The on-site urgent care is a critical resource for pet owners dealing with unexpected health issues. While the clinic’s approach to communication has received some mixed feedback, many other clients have had very positive experiences with different doctors and staff, praising their professionalism and expertise. For those seeking a clinic with a wide array of services and a deep knowledge base, Broadview Animal Clinic provides a robust option. Their ability to handle a variety of animal types and health conditions, from minor issues to urgent and surgical needs, makes them a comprehensive and reliable choice for the Denver area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I agree with Kendra on this one. I had an appointment scheduled a week ago to see whichever vet is available because the one I liked left the clinic. When I got there we had to wait 20 extra minutes past the scheduled appointment time. A vet tech finally came out to take my kitty back for bloodwork and subcutaneous fluids but I never got to see a vet to discuss her symptoms and my concerns. Got a call the next day from this vet but missed the call. The voicemail left was direct about her results but gave generic responses as to what decisions I have. When I was finally able to get on the phone with Dr. Rucker he was curt, distracted (I could hear him typing while I talked), and lacked compassion. It did not seem as though he cared at all about my questions and did little good to help me understand what my cat was going through. I inevitably made the call that my gut and my own knowledge told me was best but would have appreciated some empathy, kindness and a bit of concern from an expert in pets.

February 29 · Eleni HosackWe took her for an assessment at Broadview Animal Clinic. We’ve taken our pets there for the last 14 years. They’re cheap and no nonsense. So I took her for a quality of life assessment because she’s fifteen and a half. This vet came in, didn’t say hi, and asked about her symptoms. When I listed them off, he said, “you’ve got two choices. You can do blood work and get her on arthritis medication or we can put her down right now.” I said I’m not ready to put her down and asked if she’s really ready. He said it was my choice. That’s all. No compassion, no inspection of the dog, just kept rudely repeating that it’s my choice. When I said I needed to wait for my husband, he said that’s your choice and walked out. I’ll never go back there again.

September 26 · Kendra NapoleonAfter waiting two months for my Dogs scheduled appointment I called to confirm and they informed me his appointment was cancelled due to staffing issues. Almost every attempt to reach the clinic I would hear them answer the phone and hang up if they did answer I would be placed on eternal hold. I left messages for the clinic manager and it took an email expressing my unhappiness for him to reach out only to offer to reschedule my appointment In November! Absolutely crazy to think I would wait another 4 months for them to possibly just erroneously cancel on us again! Was referred by friends and after this experience reading Yelp reviews sounds like they have some serious front office issues!Won’t be taking my loved ones here!
