What is worth choosing
Choosing a veterinary clinic involves weighing a number of factors, and Brown County Animal Clinic presents a compelling case for local Texas pet owners. While one review points to a negative experience regarding perceived upselling and extra charges, it's important to consider all available feedback to get a balanced view. Another, more detailed and highly positive review offers a powerful counter-narrative. This second review highlights that the "ladies at the front are so sweet," and the doctor is "quick and efficient." The genuine concern expressed by a vet tech who was "just as worried about my baby as I was" speaks volumes about the level of compassion and care provided by the staff. This empathy is a crucial factor for any pet owner looking for a place where their animal will be treated with kindness. The same reviewer also specifically notes "good pricing," which directly contradicts the negative experience and suggests that pricing may be a more nuanced issue, perhaps dependent on the specific case or service. The positive feedback about the "atmosphere and the friendliness" of the team reinforces the notion that the clinic prioritizes a welcoming and comfortable environment. The fact that the reviewer plans to return for both of their "fur babies in the future" is a strong endorsement of the overall quality of their experience. When looking for a local vet, a clinic that combines a caring and friendly staff with efficient service and reasonable costs is highly desirable. Brown County Animal Clinic, through the lens of positive client experiences, appears to offer this combination. The clinic's commitment to accessibility and the genuine concern shown by its team members make it a valuable resource for pet owners in Early and beyond. The positive testimonials about the staff's kindness and the quality of care provide a solid foundation of trust for those seeking a long-term partner in their pet's health journey. This clinic represents a good choice for those who value a friendly atmosphere and a staff that treats their pets with the care and concern they deserve.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Every time I take my dog in here, the vet finds a way to up charge us for something. He tried to charge me $200 to clip a nail that my dog broke because he wanted to keep her for x rays. $200 for a nail that I ended up letting fall off naturally, and it was just fine. I just brought her in to have her anal glands expressed and without out asking he said she had swelling (she did not) and he grabbed a shot, gave it to her and then charged an extra $100 without disclosing it would cost to give her a shot she didn’t need. Even the staff is apologetic about his up charging.
August 04 · Kayla MullinsThe ladies at the front are so sweet, and the doc was quick and efficient... loved the atmosphere and the friendliness. The vet tech was super friendly and was just as worried about my baby as I was. Didn't get her name, but I definitely like her. Will definitely be going bk for both of my fur babies in the future. Oh, and also good pricing.

June 24 · Jack BryantDO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they may all seems super sweet and kind but its all just a scam, they DO NOT care about the animals they DO NOT care about treating them. all they care about is getting animals to go there and get paid they say they will take care of your "babies" but all they will do is maintain them in their curent condition and keep them sick but make them look better then when you brought them in so in a week or so youre right back in their office giving them more money to do nothing, we just took our cat there and we had multiple vets and doctors tell us what was wrong with her but the day we NEEDED help speck was the only one open and he refused to give her what she needed cause he swore up and down he knew what she needed even after several doctors said the same thing and what she needed. and he pretty much told us "my way or the highway" litterly yelling at my wife and brother saying the other doctors dont know anything and only people like "him" do and demended he keeped her there also all she needed was a steroid shot and an albuterol treatment thats it nothing super complex or difficult and he wouldnt do it cause he didnt say it he even had a smile on his face walking out the room and almost skipping away cause in his mind he had "won" and the front desk lady as my wife was walking out litterly said she was going to die as she was allready crying her eyes out. two hours later our cat died cause there was NO vets or anywhere open. and now we have lost our precious baby cause he wanted to play god and not give her the medication she needed to live. wish i could give 0 stars. please PLEASE! tell everyone to stop going to this man all he does is kill animals and pockets the money from it.
