Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists Reviews
Thank you BEVS for saving our precious kitty Ghost! Despite not knowing what caused him to get so sick, your team was able to stabilize him and get him through the worst of it. We had to deal with 2 long nights without him and the fear of him never coming home again…. But on day 3 you called with the best news ever, he was fighting mad to get to out of there which was music to all of our ears. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for treating him so well and not giving up on him 🥰4/5 stars just because it is so darn expensive to save our furry friends
Jun 26, 2025 · Angela MenardWe waited over 6 hours and drove 1.5 and we are grateful for every hour that Dr. Romano worked to save our dog Cricket from a terrible freak injury that happened on Easter Sunday. Had BEVS not answered the phone, I am not sure she would have survived. We tried every clinic in our area including our usual Vet and nobody was offering emergency service. Dr. Romano clearly explained the procedure shortly after we arrived and gave us a sense of relief that Cricket was in good hands. The final bill was a lot but worth every penny to save our young rescue dogs life. Thank you BEVS. Dana Jones & Mark Balestra
Apr 21, 2025 · Dana JonesWhen my 1 year old pit bull, Scar was hit by a car in September I called my closest emergency vet about an hour from me and they told me they were unable to see him due to being too busy that night, I called BEVS and they told me they were very busy but bring him in and they would have someone immediately make sure he’s stable, once we got there after the 2 hr drive an employee came to my car and got him right out back, getting him help immediately. He had to stay 2 nights but every time I spoke to a vet I felt so certain and trusting in them, they were so kind and gentle but always very honest. When it was time for me to finally pick him up after a very extensive surgery, I could see the love and care they showed him, the vet who brought him out told me he had to make his rounds and say goodbye to everyone. I had to go in a few times after for a tube removal and a checkup, as soon as we walked in the door they greeted him with such love and he was always so happy to see them. This is the type of care I want my pet to revive. Our pets are our kids and these people will treat them that way.I have a special thank you for one vet in particular who I don’t know the name of, she brought him to me when it was time to go home, she told me how much she enjoyed Scar and what an amazing dog he is, during his checkup she took time to sit on the floor and play with him in the waiting room. I felt such warmth knowing she had been taking care of my baby. I hope she is able to see this and know just how amazing she is at her work.
Jan 11, 2025 · Cassiddy DoyonI see a lot of negative comments however we had an amazing experience. Yes there is a long wait time however they are the only emergency care for hours and like every business they are short staffed. Both our technician and veterinarian were amazing. So sweet, caring, and compassionate. We can't thank them enough for taking care of our Lucy Goosey!
Mar 25, 2025 · Ashleigh WeegarWe brought our beloved gremlin pup, Gertie, in for an ophthalmologist exam and the BEVS team was amazing. Gertie is extremely fearful and the entire staff were accommodating, kind, and knowledgeable about working with fearful dogs. Special shout out to the nurse, Jess, who we worked with. She pulled out all the fear-free practices she could to make Gertie as comfortable as possible. Having such a fearful dog is really hard at times, but the staff at BEVS made it so much easier to get our girl the care she needs.
