★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was guided by a higher power to this clinic, as many others insisted on amputating my dog’s leg. Other places seemed more focused on profits rather than the well-being of my beloved fur baby. Unlike the urgent demands for leg removal from different clinics, I had hope in God and Echo’s spirit, knowing God would heal him.A review led me to Care Animal Hospital and Dr. Haase, where a man shared his joy with his small dog’s care. Encouraged, I reached out, and Tabetha’s warm sincerity felt like a breath of fresh air. She listened intently as I shared our story and promptly arranged an appointment for Echo.Though my husband couldn’t take off work and the doctor was going away on vacation, we devised a plan for when he returned to perform the surgery. Meanwhile, as circumstances took a worrying turn, the clinic’s commitment to Echo shone through; they referred us to another reputable facility to ensure Echo received the best care. This act underscored that Echo's well-being was their priority, not financial gain.At the new facility, we experienced exceptional care, but they attempted a quick fix (leg amputation ) that we wisely declined. We were grateful for the excellent treatment they provided until Dr. Haase returned. When he did, his vast experience and clear plan gave us renewed hope. Having performed this procedure over 500 times, he confirmed that Echo was a suitable candidate for surgery—and it was a success at a reasonable price!!!After eight weeks, Echo is running on all fours, jumping, and thriving once again. I am profoundly thankful to God for leading us to Dr. Haase and allowing him to restore Echo’s life. Echo can now live fully and freely with all four legs. This truly is the best animal hospital that genuinely cares for your pet's needs, even if it means directing you elsewhere. I will always turn to them for Echo’s medical needs. Thank you, Dr. Haase & all of the Care Animal Hospital staff in Arlington Heights, for making a meaningful difference in my family's lives. We are deeply appreciative of all that you did for Echo! My name is Latisha, and I approve this review.
June 26 · - Pepper LMJTabitha is a gem! She is always very kind and helpful. I have called often as we have two new dogs and she always takes the time to explain options and answer my questions. Our experience with everyone in the office has been exceptional!
May 21 · Kristian-MaryLou GeanconteriThe best vet ever!My dog got sick and we went to three vets and he didn’t get better , finally we decided to go over here and he’s good now. The prices are reasonable and the staff is great. Everything that was done to my dog was communicated and Dr. Haase was great!!!Thank You!!
May 24 · Viktoria GodisI bought a puppy from this facility and I've had my puppy for a year now. We have had nothing but medical issues. She had diarrhea for four months and is now on gastrointestinal food. The pH of her urine is low so she has to have crystals sprinkled on her food twice a day. She develops open lesions on her belly and down her legs that I have to use a topical spray for. Her fur is thinning and it might be allergies but we aren't sure yet. She only weighs 36 pounds and is small for a pure bred Labrador Retriever.
May 12 · Kathryn Ann SzalayThey have a secret policy created by the owner that is absurd and only helps their income and hurts animals. I have had many dogs for 40 years and I only get them 3 year rabies vaccines that I almost forgot that a 1 year is offered. I am ALWAYS asked which I want before the vaccine is given. The policy here is that the staff is not allowed to ask which vaccine is preferred - they are to just give the one year unless told otherwise by the client.A one year vaccine is the exact same dosage as a 3 year vaccine- the difference is the label on the bottle. If you don't know or understand that this is poison we are required by law to give our pets you should do some research. Why would you give a dog this every year when you can legally give the exact same amount every 3 years? The vaccine lasts much longer but since we are required by law... there are many harmful side effects that can be permanent and can even cause death. This policy is from the owner who I have had 2 encounters with in the past year and both times the medicine prescribed was outdated and the dosage was for a dog much larger than mine. He is outdated and should retire in my opinion. That should not be his place to make this determination and take the decision out of the clients hands. It is very arrogant.Unfortunately they did things differently this visit than they did last month when I was here for distemper. I like to get my dog an injection to help with any reactions from the vaccines. I expected my dog to be returned to me after that injection as it is customary to wait 10 minutes of more for it to take effect. They didn't bring my dog back and vaccinated her after doing an exam which I also didn't ask for.I will never take any pet to Care Animal Hospital in Arlington Heights again and have had all my pets records transferred elsewhere.IF I could give negative stars I would. This is a huge deal to me.I could never trust a place with an owner who thinks they can make decisions for me that only increases their revenue. There is no other reason for it.
