Centinela Animal Hospital Reviews
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Leaving a TEN STAR review !!!!Where to start. As a LA girl born and raised, I know prices for vet care are absolutely outrageous in the surrounding area. The care isn’t even care but a rotating door for some doctors. And even if you pay an arm and a leg, there is no relationship Building with you or education on what is going on with your dog…….NOT HERE…..Fair prices, attentive staff, and a heart centered doctor who cares holistically for your babies. He won’t try to sell something you don’t need without trying the most affordable solution first. Other places will upsell and just for being in a better area, and will Sell you things just to make you spend and feed on your fear and vulnerability, but here they really are trying to find a solution for the issue. Right now we’re trying to figure out if it’s just fleas or allergies that’s caused him to chew on his skin. The doctor offered so many options and helped us pick something reasonable and highlighted some holistic solutions if this doesn’t help. You truly have to pay extra for a space that uplifts alternative medicine, and here it is just part of the practice that the doctor upholds for his center. The wait was about as average as a Drs visit and I was able to make an appointment that morning for the same day.To address why we have to wait outside :The doctor has had multiple Covid infections and almost DIED. He cannot take the vaccine because of adverse reaction to his system so for the safety of this doctor’s beautiful soul we have to wait outside. Honestly, it was not a bother as the day was nice and breezy. He sat with us for a bit and explained all of this compassionately sharing his experience…..WHILE on top of EDUCATING US on what was happening with our dog and why. We felt so at ease after what had been some stressful days. Thank you Dr Palmquist for such a wonderful experience we will be coming here for life. 🖤🤲🏽✨
Mar 26, 2025 · Luz FloresDr. Johnson is rude and condescending and will cut you off in the middle of your speaking at least 3 times. All of then other staff were sweethearts and very helpful/attentive. Be aware that you can not go inside with your pet they have you sit outside while everything takes place.
Jul 02, 2025 · Kaiya FarmerFirst appt for my puppy. The doctor didn’t even bother to give him a full examination, he had an ear infection which wasn’t noticed. Also you are not allowed to come into the clinic, you have to wait outside while your pet is being examined. If I had been told that when I made the booking I would not have come. Really really disappointed and won’t be going again.
Feb 19, 2025 · Pamela BeaDr. Palmquist is the vet you will wish you had from the start of your pets life. He is so heart centered, real and incredible. I searched high and low for him. Since being with him our cat Ray has lost 3 pounds in 2 months and is shrinking his tumors.
Jul 21, 2023 · Charmaine HampI've been taking my special beloveds to CAH for over a decade. I love the amazing, caring, knowledgeable humans there. They do as much holistically as possible, and conventionally, when needed. This is a small hospital with wonderful people. I've read reviews of people upset that they didn't get fast service or some other issue. Look, the world is still dealing with small staff and supply shortages due to the shutdowns, let's be real. Life is not the same. And yet this crew gets in there and does amazing work with love.Dr Palmquist and staff could not have been more kind or lovely when it was time to let our Ozzie pass. And they continue to be amazing with out sweet Lily and her many health challenges.Dr Palmquist, Dr Orme, Dr Johnson, and the staff are fabulous humans who take beautiful care of my cat. We love and appreciate them.
