Central Pennsylvania Veterinary Emergency Treatment Services Reviews
After an emergency with my cat and being referred to cpvets I am so glad I came here. The ladies there went above and beyond to make sure I was okay given the circumstances, they explained everything and also confirmed with me before making any moves. My cat was staying overnight and from the gate it was going to be miracle if she survived but when I had to leave her there I knew she was in good hands and as soon as she took a turn for the worst they called me immediately to confirm what I wanted for my cat at the end of life. Given it being 8pm that same night they still made it possible for me and my kids to come down after my cat had passed and visit with her and bring her home. They expressed their condolences and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. A few days later I received a hand written card in the mail further expressing their condolences. Such a good place and they do care about your animals!
May 05, 2025 · Kay ParksIn the past month I have had the need to seek help from CP Vets 3 separate times. Each of those times the staff was respectful, compassionate and professional. The wait time was minimal even though the office was full of clients. All my pets received immediate attention and top of the line care at a reasonable price. It's very comforting knowing they are there for you 24/7 if you need them. Thank you CP Vets!
Jun 26, 2025 · Kathi HamptonIf I could I give this place a 0 star 165.00 to check over a animal you can't even go back to see what they are doing I spent 8 hours there waiting for them to tell me what's wrong with my pet. Then they take you in a room close the door and say the doctor will be right in they don't give you X-rays or blood work or anything they do to your pet. This place rips people off of money 570.00 and nothing to show me no X-ray blood work or anything. All I got is take your pet somewhere else we can't do anything rip offs for money I will never take another pet there again. Just a piece of printed paper all this is what your pet got ridiculous. I understand it cost more for a emergency visit but come on. I'm more than mad. It's all about the money not the animal. I don't recommend this place. Unleast show proof of what you do. I see why this place gets horrible reviews from people if your a animal hospital you should have the equipment there to do what it takes to save a animals life. With all the bad reviews this place got its a wonder there still opened. I had to pay my vet over 454.60 to save my cats life. I will never bring another animal to this place or recommend this place to anyone they riped me off for money and did absolutely nothing. Stay away from this place. Thanks to your stupidity my cat passed away its pretty sad I took my cat to my regular vet and they told me she was dehydrated and had severe renal failure and you guys did absolutely nothing I hope someone shuts this craphole down. Joke of a place. Go back to veterinary school and study more. They kill animals and don't help them. Beware and stay clear of this place find another place people. They will take your money and do absolutely nothing.
Jun 28, 2025 · James CoopIf I was able to rate this place lower, I would. Well over six hours ago, I was told it would be four to six hours until my dog would seen. There are three other families here with similar situations. Meanwhile other owners and animals come and go. Apparently our animal's aren't serious enough to be seen in a timely manner. If that's the case, be honest and send us home. At least provide some update. Anything at all would be an improvement.
Jun 22, 2025 · Troy IrvinCP Vets is amazing. I had to bring my dog when she suddenly became very ill. The staff was very attentive and dedicated to her care. They did a fantastic job explaining the entire process to us- the care, the cost, the timeline, and my dog's prognosis. Thankfully my dog is doing great. I hope I never need to go to an emergency vet again, but if I do, I will definitely come back here.
