Services Offered
- Comprehensive Cardiology Evaluations: A thorough assessment of your pet's heart health, including a review of medical history and a detailed physical examination, performed by a board-certified veterinary cardiologist.
- Echocardiography (Cardiac Ultrasound): The primary diagnostic tool for heart disease, providing detailed images of the heart's structure, function, and blood flow using harmless sound waves. Essential for diagnosing heart murmurs, cardiomyopathy, and valve issues.
- Electrocardiography (ECG/EKG): Measures the electrical activity of the heart to diagnose arrhythmias (irregular heart rhythms) and assess overall cardiac function. Can be done as an outpatient visit or via 24-hour Holter monitoring for continuous assessment.
- Radiographs (X-rays): Thoracic (chest) X-rays are crucial for evaluating the lungs and assessing the size and shape of the heart, particularly in diagnosing congestive heart failure (fluid in the lungs).
- Blood Pressure Measurement: An essential component of a cardiac physical examination, monitoring blood pressure is vital as it significantly impacts heart function and can be a "silent killer."
- Medical Therapy Management: Development of personalized, long-term outpatient medical plans based on diagnostic findings, discussing prognosis, desired results, and potential side effects of medications. Includes ongoing follow-up with both the cardiologist and your family veterinarian.
- Interventional Cardiology Procedures: Minimally-invasive catheter-based procedures performed with human-grade fluoroscopy units for specific cardiac conditions, such as Patent Ductus Arteriosus occlusion, Pulmonic Stenosis balloon valvuloplasty, and Pacemaker implantation.
- Hospitalization Coordination: For critical cardiac emergencies requiring urgent stabilization or oxygen-enriched environments, Coast to Coast Cardiology works with multiple 24-hour emergency and specialty centers to ensure optimal care.
- Client Education: Taking the time to thoroughly explain your pet's condition, how medications work, and how to monitor their health at home, empowering pet owners to actively participate in their pet's care.
- Access to Veterinary Prescription Products: Partnership with fully licensed pharmacies to provide convenient online ordering and home delivery of veterinary prescription pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter products, and veterinary diets.

Jun 04, 2025 · Mateusz SzczerbaMy dog has been seeing Dr. Lange for a few years now - she is always very thoughtful and thorough when treating my pup and relaying tests results to me. The treatment and plan of care she suggested for my pup has brought her energy back to puppy levels (she’s 15!) and has eased any concerns I had regarding my pup’s heart condition. Additionally, the entire team at Coast to Coast is very professional, and every appointment I’ve ever had has been on time which is amazing/unheard of. Highly recommend!
Jan 28, 2025 · Heather SullivanPlease make sure when the doctors here document medication dosages in your pets record that they are writing the CORRECT medication dosage. My dog went to coast to coast then was referred to ER and since the doctor wrote the wrong dosage, he was getting an extra 15MG of vetmedin in the ER, as I gave ER gets a copy of these records when my dog was admitted into the hospital. I can't give a higher star than 1 for this as it was a very careless mistake. My dog was at the mercy of professionals and although they said it wouldn't of hurt him, it was not okay for this to happen. I just don't want it to happen to other people. Also, I would very much suggest before coming here to make sure your dog has very current bloodwork or INSIST on coast to coast to take bloodwork BEFORE any of your pets meds are adjusted and before any new meds are added.Response*The vca did not change the vetmedin dosage and i did not inform your office of this. Dr Williams documented the dosage incorrectly and in turn my dog was getting an extra dose of vetmedin in the hospital. I have all the records on this. It was a mistake on her part.A simple google search shows pre-bloodwork is extremely important when making med adjustments to make sure all the other organs are okay. My dog suffered because this was not done. Dr Williams went off old bloodwork knowing my dog had been on the heart medications for 10 months with no updated bloodwork. It's unacceptable. My dog was not suffering until being in Dr Williams care. He suffered the last 2 months of his life and he was acting fine, eating and drinking and himself before coming to your office.Your office also had no doctor on call when I needed them during an emergency and no one was available. I will elaborate on my review more but I'm still deeply grieving and this is all i can say at this time.
