Coastal Animal Referral Emergency (CARE) Reviews
Came to Williamsburg from out of town and our puppy was not feeling well. Coastal Animal Care took us in ASAP and found an item inside her (we are still trying to figure out what it was) and took her into surgery. Not only they took care of her but kept us updated non stop. The staff and doctor are so friendly and understanding. 100% recommendations! Thank you for saving our Maggie!
Jun 29, 2025 · Rudi ChhinThank you Dr. Stevens for everything you and your staff did to save my boys. I personally had a good experience from the moment I walked into the door. Facility was easy to find, friendly, compassionate, clean, and welcoming.I know how tough the job is that you all do everyday. Thank you for keeping me updated and helping me along the way even when that meant making the hardest decision as an owner and say goodbye to one. I know now I did the right thing, I gave it my all, and you did all you could for my babies. I will definitely recommend you when I can. Thank you all again and I wish you all the best.-Brittany and Lance-Dixon-Tater Tot 🌈 💙
Jun 10, 2025 · BrittanyUpdate: Our poor guy didnt make it but we were able to bring him into CARE and Dr.Moin was with us every step of the way. Thank you for all of the team for making us feel like we were not leaving out baby to be alone, thank you for not making us feel like there were regrets or what if or what more can we do. Thank you for being there, thank you for loving our boy too.Ill try to make this short. The staff has been wonderful, we are so grateful for them being able to take our baby and treat him as soon as possible. a huge thanks to Dr.Moin.Our dog Mooley was sick last month with a fever and shaking. We had no idea what was going on and took him to our local vet multiple times with indications pointing toward infection but nothing more. with the second blood test they were worried about kidney/liver issues so they refered us to Care. When we got there they were able to do a quick ultrasound and it was not very helpful since they thought things looked larger then they should. There were alot of what ifs and it could possibly be. The only option was to keep him over night for a more in depth ultrasound. We agreed. After the more in depth his organs were just fine for a basset hound. We were still left in the dark. We did a chest xray just incase and that was alot just fine. still in the dark, not from the staff just from what could it be. Diagnosing a patient that cant talk is the most difficult job in the world. That morning when we went over to feed him Dr.Moin told us she looked at his chart and noticed his blood platelet count was off. She suggested auto immune testing and a extensive tick panel. We agreed. They wanted to keep him another night but that was just not in the budget. They were able to run more testing and all signs point toward auto immune. Our boy is still fighting but we are so thankful and gratful for the wonderful service they provided with steps we could take to get into the right direction. Thank you for saving our dog. Thank you for all the staff taking our calls and comunicating with us even after that night answering the many questions that still pop into out head. We appriciate you all.
Feb 16, 2025 · W D“Dr. Moin and her staff are a true blessing to our fur babies. Not only are their services exceptional, but the level of care and compassion they show to us, the dog owners, is just as comforting.” Thank You-Betty and Mark
Jun 14, 2025 · Mark AndersenOur 11 year old dog became very sick within a few hours in the middle of the night. We rushed her to CARE and the team was absolutely incredible. It was quickly discovered she was internally bleeding from a ruptured tumor and we had the make the difficult decision to put her down. The team was so kind and comforting. They gave us all the time we needed and walked my husband through all of his questions without feeling rushed. Thank you CARE for everything you have done
