★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was referred here after my normal vet discovered my 3 month old kitten had a medical emergency and they didn’t have the resources to help him. I called Compassion 4 Paws immediately after they opened on a Friday. Even though they were booked for the morning, they got us in and were treating him within an hour of my call. The staff were kind yet realistic with me about my little guys condition, surgery cost, and recovery time/possible complications. I’ll be forever grateful for them saving my Poe. I definitely won’t be taking him anywhere else!
August 20 · Breanne BlankenshipMy son had a cat who developed a case of conjunctivitis on a Friday night. He called at 830!pm and they got him in at 9 pm. The vet”Dr Rachel” spoke perfect cat. It was really amazing. She actually was able to calm his cat to the point he was almost unrecognizable. Thank you Dr Rachel for providing such awesome care. Also thanks to your amazing staff too! Mostly thanks for being so kind to my son and his little boy maverick. It was greatly appreciated.
July 27 · laurie carterSuper friendly and one of the affordable places to go.BVet was super nice and informativeEveryone is very friendly on both sidesOur dog is moody but liked the vetThat's saying something for himHe had a tough surgery and they were great with him.My only complaint would be that they gave him meds in his butt which later made him bleed and was very alarming costing in a unnecessary urgent care visit that we did not need or could affordWhen I called should have been it Brought up about the meds could cause bleeding especially if there's no other symptoms occurringThe urgent care that was suggested by them said as muchSo if your dog gets meds in their butt bleeding can occurI couldn't read the hand wr8to tell what the medicines name isAnd that urgent care place I would never return to based on the waste they tried to get us to do anyways at $600 after saying it was normal, it already cost $300And never witnessed the vet touching our dogIt's included in this review bc the person on the phone seemed uneducated about it and sent me to the placeEven though that happened I would come back here just might do research and call around before listening to all advice at face valueThe reception isn't a vet and I wish I would of considered that instead of my emotions about my buddySundays are not good days to call just a heads upConsidered all symptoms and things before emotions cloud judgementThe dog food pictured is the best I've tried for older dogs with hip dysplasia
February 23 · Ashley BranchDr. Rachel and the staff were amazing! They really showed they truly care and love the job they do. Our dog received excellent care and the time and compassion they gave us as pet owners was outstanding. Answered every question we had and went above and beyond when we returned for follow up by doing extra routine care as well. We loved Dr. Rachel so much we wish she could be our regular veterinarian for all our pets. I highly recommend this place. Prices are fair and availability was good too. Thank you so much for the excellent care and treatment we all received. I will recommend this place to everyone I know.
May 11 · Janet RulisonOur family made the hardest, heart wrenching decision to let our dog go. She was facing many health issues that multiple surgeries “might fix” . . Our care facility didn’t have any availability until the following week, so we chose compassion to lay her to rest. We were met with judgment and turned away. They spent 10 minutes with her and said she seems like she has life left in her. I spend every day with her, I hear her cry in pain every night. She can’t walk, eat or drink without my assistance. After we left things got worse, her pain meds cause severe diarrhea and I woke to her bleeding from her butt. Now she can’t have her pain meds and she’s suffering more. My entire family went to compassion with our eyes flooded in tears, they said they can see how loved she is, yet sent us away to watch our family member suffer all weekend. It’s heartbreaking and traumatizing for us all. I do not recommend this very un compassionate place to anyone!
