Definitely a top notch practice! I’ve worked for a decade in animal welfare, and have high standards for vet care. I feel so lucky to have Compassionate Care so close to home, they are continually the best vet experience I’ve ever had.My dog has seen them 3-4x times now for various reasons including urgent and emergent situations. Dr. Lynne O’Neil is incredibly knowledgeable and always takes the time to answer my questions. They are so gentle and loving with my small, nervous, senior dog and they are Fear Free Certified! The staff is always kind and courteous. The spaces are always clean and well kept. The prices are more affordable than many other vets I’ve been to. 10/10 🌟
Apr 29, 2025 · Sam HoganMy first time visit here and will never go anywhere else. The name of their place describes it perfectly. I’ve had many dogs and cats and wish I found them earlier. My daughter takes her dogs there and told me about them. I took my very uncooperative cat to them yesterday and couldn’t have had a more positive experience !! They are excellent!!! Thank you so much!! I highly recommend this place to everyone!!
Jun 20, 2025 · Judy BradleyI’m very grateful to this staff for the incredible care they provide. I was referred here after my cat suddenly became sick, I live 45 minutes away and car rides are always stressful for her so I was already really nervous to bring her in, I called and they took us in for an appointment right away that morning. After running tests and finding out she needed surgery they were kind enough to fit us in so she could have it done that same day, taking away the worry and anxiety of having to wait and come back. When Dr. Allison O’Neal reached out with her results she explained in detail all of our options, pricing and what to expect. She replied back very quickly when I followed up and thoroughly answered all of my many questions. (I admit I’m probably harder to deal with this situation has been very overwhelming and I truly appreciate their empathy)We’ve been coming here since for her treatments and each visit everyone is so friendly, caring, and understand it’s a scary time for us. They are always so gentle with her and treat as if it were their own pet. Always make us feel comfortable and thoughtful to take into consideration that we live further away and offer ways to help make this process easier.Thank you for your kindness and giving our girl the best care possible
Apr 11, 2025 · JessThought my cat was a goner.. was convinced he wasn't coming back from being very ill and was actually calling around to likely end his suffering..Had family say good byes and everything..I was able to get an appointment that afternoon, and the vet took a look at Tito and suggested some blood work after I described the symptoms. The approximate costs were presented to me, I went forward with blood work, and the Dr was able to get back to me with a likely culprit (kidney infection) and a treatment plan.Costs/options were presented, and I went ahead with the suggested treatment..And 2 days later now and Tito is eating again and looking lively!Great experience with all the staff and process and transparency on costs.Fingers crossed Tito continues to improve and recover from here!Very appreciative of the accomodating and compassionate care. The name rings true 👍
Oct 11, 2024 · Michael AllenWe have been taking our cats there for the last 4 or 5 years, they truly know how to keep them calm and are so so attentive, when we got our puppy I knew there was no where else but Compassionate Care. Recently our puppy was spayed, it was such a seemless process, the doctor closed the incision without stitches, I think it's called skin to skin where they medically glue the skin closed and all the stitching is inside. For someone who has had pets thier whole life this was a game changer, no cones, no licking, no scratching, just recovery. Our little puppy is three days post op and doing fantastic!!The vet staff and doctors here are AMAZING not only are they loving towards our animals but they are knowledgeable and use top notch medical methods. We love them so much!!!
