Connecticut Feline Medicine and Surgery Introduce
For cat owners across Connecticut, finding veterinary care that truly understands the unique nuances of feline health and behavior can make all the difference in their beloved pet's well-being. Unlike general animal hospitals that cater to a variety of species, a clinic solely dedicated to cats offers a distinct advantage: an environment and expertise tailored specifically to the needs of our feline friends. Connecticut Feline Medicine and Surgery in East Hartford, CT, is one such specialized practice. This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and informative overview of their services, highlighting why they are a preferred choice for many local cat parents.
Cats, by nature, are often masters at hiding signs of illness or discomfort, and their physiological and psychological needs differ significantly from other pets. A cat-only veterinary practice is designed to minimize stress for feline patients, from the waiting room to the examination table. This specialized approach leads to more accurate diagnoses, more effective treatments, and a more comfortable experience for both the cat and their owner. Connecticut Feline Medicine and Surgery prides itself on offering this focused, compassionate, and high-quality care, ensuring that every cat receives the attention and expertise they deserve.

Connecticut Feline Medicine and Surgery Reviews
I've brought my cats here for about ten years, and and I can't recommend them enough. Dr. Miller and staff (I'm most familiar with Summer, who is wonderful, and everyone we've seen there over the years was great) have always been so kind and compassionate. Many years ago I had some not great experiences at a different vet with my first cat, but I just thought that was normal and kept taking her to the same place her whole life. When Longfellow came into my life and we started going to CT Feline, the difference in care and service was incredible. Dr. Miller noticed that when his previous owners had him declawed, it left bone shards in his toes that were causing him pain. The operation to remove them was such a relief--you could tell it really improved his quality of life. Evie joined the family later, and everyone at CT Feline has been great at dealing with Evie and Longfellow's very pronounced personalities. As devastating as it was losing Longfellow to cancer, it was comforting knowing he was in such good hands. Evie and I are moving too far away to keep coming to CT Feline, but I hope we're lucky enough to find another place like this!
Aug 21, 2024 · Andrea PetrulloHigh quality care at this veterinarian! They only service cats and are extremely knowledgeable about feline care. They make sure your kitty is as comfortable as possible and they do not rush anything. They will exhaust all possible solutions to help your kitty with any ailments. I only wish that they lived closer to me. I drive my kitty 45 minutes to an hour to bring her here and that's because it's worth it. I have 100% trust in the staff at CT Feline. Highly recommend!
Dec 10, 2018 · ShannonI recently adopted a 9 year old cutie named Elvis. He started to have some issues with vomiting and hairballs, and so I decided to take the recommendation of a family friend to book an appointment with CT Feline Medicine and Surgery. The staff were able to schedule him within 2 days for an appointment, and were very flexible with my work schedule. When I arrived at the office, the staff greeted Elvis before even greeting me! They cared so much about making the environment right for him. I was blown away at how amazing this team was - absolutely fantastic! I have never experienced such personalized care - the vet tech took her time to get to know Elvis, and truly cared about getting the details of his medical history correct. In addition to the 30 minutes the Vet Tech, Summer, spent with Elvis, all of us, (Dr. Haining, Summer, Elvis and myself) sat on the floor for nearly 45 minutes to make Elvis feel comfortable while we talked about his medical issues. I cannot express how pleased I was with the amazing service this team provided. Hands down, the best customer service experience I have ever had. I would HIGHLY recommend!
Oct 23, 2017 · Saralynne YoreyDr. Miller and her staff are so caring and dedicated. Dr. Miller worked relentlessly to help treat our cat for months as she battled cancer, even accommodating emergency appointments. When we unfortunately had to say goodbye, even the administrative staff came in to say goodbye to our girl because they also loved her so much. Dr. Miller and her team have also helped to keep one of our other family cats well and shes about to be 20!
Feb 19, 2024 · Molly KavanaghIf I could write a novel, I would. Dr. Miller and her team are so knowledgeable, caring, and just truly genuine people. I never felt like a number there, my girl was just as important to them as she was to me. I brought my kitty to CT Feline for checkups and routine visits starting when she was about 9 and they saw her up until she passed at 15. Although loosing a pet is the worst experience, they made me feel so cared about and walked me through the process every step of the way when she was sick.I watched her team stay after hours and contact me late at night just to make sure I was well informed and my girl was well taken care of.I can not speak highly enough of this group, if you have the chance to have your kitties taken care of here, you will not regret it. Amazing people who love kitties just as much as me. ❤️
