Corrales Veterinary Clinic Reviews
Took my 7 year old boxer wimeriner mix to this vet because he started having accidents in the house, couldn't control his bowels at all. His hips were not right either. They chalked it up to behavioral issues when he's had none up until then. It continued and he stated falling asleep and falling over alot. He also started getting aggressive and biting. I brought him back to this vet and they told me he had narcolepsy and gave him a script for Prozac. This helped calm him down but he was still having accidents. He was miserable. We did a urine and blood test and nothing came back.. we waited about a month or two with him in this condition because we didn't want to lose our dog. (He was my first dog as an adult) he progressively got worse and the vet didn't offer anything else we could do. Our dog couldn't even stand up for long, couldn't get up on the bed or couch by himself. He was in pain, getting even more aggressive and bit me. I called to ask if they could put him down because I didn't want to see him go through this anymore. The vet tech told me over the phone that they wouldn't put down a healthy 7 year old dog. He was not healthy he was sick and in pain. I ended up having to take him to roadrunner vet emergency hospital where they put him down. The vet I spoke to there said he could tell he had a brain tumor. Which would explain everything all of the symptoms he had. Why didn't corrales vet catch this months prior?? Before he progressively got worse. I could have tried to save him.. by the time the end was here he was just too miserable and wanted to go. He was just ready.I have 2 other dogs they've seen our great shepherd prior as well. I called recently to get her in as we were already established and she just needed her cytopoint injection for her bad allergies. The vet tech on the phone told me we weren't a "good fit". Hmm wonder why... they blamed it on my kids that have disabilities because they were too loud in the office the one time I had to bring them in.Really disappointed in this vet. Highly recommend roadrunner.
May 27, 2025 · xo. lexxieI took my new German Shepherd, Gunny, to the Clinic. Everyone was helpful and amazing. My puppy had been very stand-offish and extremely timid of people. The vet and the techs handled him so easily and kept him from being scared. Excellent Job!!

Dec 09, 2023 · Pene WilsonMy Toben had such a great first visit at Corrales Vet today! He is usually so scared, but he was great today and even stopped shaking. The techs were amazing and I was so happy they were able to trim his nails!I think Toben really liked that we could wait outside and then when we were inside he wasn’t shut in a room with no windows. He could see who was coming and going and loved to look out the window. So happy we found this amazing clinic!!!
