Jun 19, 2025 · Mari AnneWow! I didn't know a trip to the vet could go so well. I had a double appointment for my two dogs and everyone was so caring and sweet. The vet took a lot of time to make my nervous puppy comfortable. She paid attention to each dogs' behavior, deciding to give the puppy the vaccine in the room with me and taking the 2yr old in the back for blood work. They figured out my jumbled vaccine paperwork and made a plan for each dog. By the end both dogs would have been happy to stay.
Feb 26, 2025 · Nicole Helme (Nicole)North Laurel Animal Hospital is a terrific veterinary practice. The staff are compassionate, friendly, and helpful.Dr Kila was so knowledgeable and was willing to listen and answer all our questions. We could really tell she loves animals and her job.
Feb 08, 2025 · Ann Marie PetersonAll front end staff interacted with were all respectful and helpful. Placing a deposit over the phone took less than 5 minutes. Quaint and clean practice. Very open and transparent about pricing if you inquire and will help you decide if something is worth it or not. Was expecting to be in the 1000 range and was at 700. Frank and honest about what they can determine and not when diagnosing. Was in and out within 40 minutes. Everything is electronic and easy. Easy location to get to and park. Will likely bring my pet here again if necessary. Very detailed post-appointment notes.Update to my previous review: Unfortunately my senior feline needed an operation, so naturally I brought her back given my positive previous experience. Staff was again extremely helpful, and tolerated all my inquiries. I’ve never been through something like this so to say I was nervous is an understatement but everyone involved in the process did everything they could to instill confidence in me with this endeavor post-op. Both the doctor, over the phone, and the front office during check out were very thorough in everything I needed to be ready for and aware of what “normal” will be for the next few weeks after her operation. Price was about what I expected. I had a quote the same day of diagnosis (both high and low est.) and had a slot for the procedure less than a week out. Price was about what I expected and inline with “average” costs I’ve seen online. Invoice is clearly labeled. Very insistent if I need anything or have any concerns to reach out. The only thing I would do differently is ask when I should expect a call for an update. Drop off was at 8 am, call was around 3:30 and pick up was around 5:30. I was getting nervous around 1-2PM but I didn't want to be that kind of client. They did let me know at drop off to expect to be able to bring her home after 5 pm if there were not complications, and told myself that no news is good news. I'm sure they’d accommodate me calling for an update but understand the procedure of the observation period. Very smooth process with both recent visits.
