Countryside Animal Hospital offers a broad spectrum of veterinary services, designed to provide complete and loving care for a variety of animal companions, primarily focusing on dogs and cats. Their comprehensive approach covers preventative health, diagnostics, surgery, and ongoing medical management.
- Wellness Exams and Preventative Care: This forms the foundation of long-term pet health. Services include thorough physical examinations, individualized vaccination plans tailored to your pet's lifestyle and risk factors, effective parasite control (for fleas, ticks, and heartworms), and nutritional counseling to support optimal health and weight.
- Diagnostic Services: To accurately identify and understand health issues, the hospital is equipped with various diagnostic tools. These typically include in-house laboratory services for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams, allowing for rapid results. They also likely offer imaging services such as radiography (X-rays) for examining bones and internal organs, aiding in the diagnosis of injuries, illnesses, and other conditions.
- Surgical Procedures: Countryside Animal Hospital performs a range of surgical services. This generally encompasses common soft tissue surgeries such as spays and neuters (also known as "fixing" pets to prevent breeding), mass removals, and various other soft tissue repairs. Patient safety is prioritized with pre-surgical evaluations and appropriate anesthesia monitoring.
- Dental Care: Oral health is integral to overall pet well-being. The clinic provides professional dental cleanings to prevent periodontal disease, which can lead to serious health problems if left unaddressed. This typically includes scaling, polishing, and necessary extractions under anesthesia.
- Internal Medicine: For pets with more complex or chronic conditions affecting internal organs, the hospital provides comprehensive internal medicine services, including diagnosis and ongoing management of diseases such as diabetes, kidney disease, thyroid disorders, and more.
- Pain Management: Ensuring pets are comfortable and pain-free is a priority. They offer various pain management strategies for both acute injuries and chronic conditions like arthritis, aiming to improve your pet's quality of life.
- Microchipping: As a crucial service for pet safety, microchipping is offered to provide permanent identification, significantly increasing the chances of reuniting lost pets with their families.
- Pharmacy: For the convenience of their clients, most animal hospitals, including Countryside, maintain an in-house pharmacy to dispense necessary medications directly after diagnosis and treatment.

Countryside Animal Hospital Reviews
Dr. Pearlman loves and takes complete veterinary care of my 2 pitbull children and their daughter (in the middle). She even took care of me one visit when I wasn't very well at all. God will keep her blessed because she cares for us as well as our fur and other animal babés. We love and appreciate her very much! She gets the highest recommendations from me and my furbabés.

Mar 21, 2024 · Gary PostI love Countryside Animal Hospital. We and our puppy are always given a friendly greeter. They provide timely professional service. Their rates are reasonable. They don't push meds if you explain you have them already. We, and are puppy, always feel welcome and part of their family. I'm so glad we found them.
May 30, 2023 · Sandy ClarkNadine was wonderful with my Charlie. She treated Chalie with love.So glad I found her and am happy she allowed us in her practice.Thank God for Nadine.
May 08, 2024 · Cindy DeakyneAdine, front desk woman and new male assistant were absolutely horrid. Every other vet I've used has required a heartworm test before proscribing flea & tick med. So I got the test thinking it was required for the Rx med. They don't and charged a whopping $61 for the test. I was upset, but civil. Adine has always been very temperamental. She heard my consternation and blew a gasket! Next thing I know they're calling me nasty and barring me from future visits. I replied that they're abusing the supply and demand around here, which greatly favors them, to treat people badly.
