★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Staff is really courteous and helpful during regular and emergency visits. All of the doctors I have encountered during my visits have been very knowledgeable and supportive especially during a difficult time last year. I followed Dr. Turey to this clinic because of her outstanding care of my previous dogs at another clinic years ago. I have not been disappointed in the level of care my pets have received at Coyne in Crown Point.
May 29 · Monique WI have a large reactive dog. They are very accommodating and patient. Staff is excellent and always helpful.Groomer Kristen is AWESOME.
August 19 · Raymond VegaDear Coyne Veterinary Management,I am writing to formally express my serious concerns regarding the recent treatment and handling of my 4-year-old Rottweiler, a current patient at your facility, as well as the consistently unprofessional behavior I have experienced from your staff. My dog is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease—a condition that requires strict adherence to a low-stress, low-activity regimen as instructed by your own medical team. On August 4, 2025, she received an injection and was boarded overnight. On August 5, I was provided written and verbal instructions stating that she must remain kenneled at all times except for controlled leash walks. However, on August 16, during another boarding stay with our two other dogs, your staff released the Rottweiler to my boyfriend, despite his clearly stating he was only there to pick up the other two dogs. This directly contradicted our instructions and created unnecessary stress for her. Furthermore, upon seeing her, he noticed she was soaking wet—her neck and chest completely drenched—while the other two dogs were dry and had not been bathed. This is especially concerning as she should not have been bathed at all due to her medical condition, and no consent was given for such a service. When I arrived 40 minutes later to pick her up, I found her still wet, visibly distressed, and not acting like herself. Your staff admitted she had been bathed, citing your policy of bathing dogs after boarding stays. However, this explanation is inconsistent, as the same policy was not applied when she was boarded on August 4, nor were our other dogs bathed during this same visit. Furthermore, if this policy exists, it should be clearly communicated and never applied when it poses a direct health risk to the animal. When I raised my concerns with your staff—particularly with Allison—I was met with dismissiveness and condescension. I experienced a severe emotional response, including a panic attack, and instead of receiving empathy or accountability, I was told I was “overreacting” and “not allowing them to fix it.” Offering to dry my dog was not a solution—it was a further stressor and completely beside the point.I also want to document the consistently unprofessional conduct of your front desk staff, especially Kristen. She is consistently rude, dismissive, and unwilling to assist clients. She has ignored me on several occasions, rolled her eyes, and has even stopped other staff members from helping me. Her attitude is unacceptable for someone working in customer service, especially in a facility dealing with animals and their concerned owners. This is not the first troubling incident I’ve experienced at Coyne, but it is by far the most serious. As a paying client who has trusted your facility with the care of multiple pets, I am appalled by the negligence, lack of communication, and lack of accountability displayed during this situation. I am formally requesting:1.A written explanation and acknowledgment of the events that occurred during my dog’s August 16–17 boarding stay.2.An explanation of your bathing policy and why it was applied inconsistently.3.Immediate assurance that no unauthorized treatments or services will be performed on my pets in the future.4.Disciplinary action or retraining for staff members involved, particularly regarding communication, consent, and professionalism.5.A direct follow-up call or written response from a manager—not a general staff member. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will consider escalating this issue to veterinary regulatory authorities and social media platforms to ensure other pet owners are aware of the risks involved.Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
August 17 · Victoria SWe have taken our pet Onyx (Black Lab) to Coyne since he was 8 weeks old (he will turn four on 06/18). He is boarded there when we have to go out of town and has had Obedience Training there as well. The staff and doctors are great! I would recommend Coyne Veterinary Center to all my family and friends for their pets. We are a Coyne Family. My son and his family bring their pet Kuma here as well.
June 16 · Valerie ToliverI strongly recommend Coyne vet in crown point . I was recommended to them when I got my puppy a year ago I was looking for a new vet cause I was going somewhere else with my dog that recently had passed before I got her and they had miss diagnosed her and I believe if I got another opinion she would still be with me today. But it was too late . So when I started going to Coyne I have always been pleased with everything that they have done for me and my baby. Everyone there is so helpful and nice and answer all my questions and are very patient with you. And I also love how they always have special events for the babies. From having holiday pictures pup cup days specials on treatments . I would and have definitely recommended this location thank you so much for everything you all do. Savannah thanks you too
