★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My kitten was attacked and had been bitten very badly in the head by a large male cat. My baby had a temp of 105. The nursing staff was very kind and considerate and the Dr was thorough, having to drain blood from my kittens wound so that it did not get to his brain. I was given instructions, meds. & Was told if his fever brakes he should be fine. Happy to say he is doing great now thank you Cropwell animal hospital
June 01 · Frankie HerefordWhat can I say about Dr. Sims other than he is excellent and you will not find a better Vet in Alabama. He is caring very thorough and his staff is top notch. Morgan goes above and beyond as his assistant and they do a phenomenal job. Office staff is always Warm and friendly. 5 stars is not enough. Thank You Dr Sims.
June 14 · John DouglasLove Dr Sims. He doesn't do a lot of unnecessary and costly things, unless you want them done just for peace of mind. He has been wonderful with our 7 year old rescue Pomeranian. He truly cares about animals.
August 18 · Paulette ThomasDr. Sims is the best veterinarian we've ever had. He cares and is honest about what is going on with your pet. We've been going to him for years.A couple of years ago, we had a huge emergency when our senior, special-needs dog was attacked early in the morning. He immediately made a plan, talked me through it, and followed up later in the day. I had to go to an emergency vet (his recommendation) because it was quicker than he could have made it to the clinic. She was bleeding out, in shock, and it was very early in the morning. It took her a couple of days to become stable, but we transferred her to Dr. Sims' care as soon as we could. I'm happy to say that she made a full recovery with a stem cell treatment. Muscle and skin grew back—it was like something out of a sci-fi show. I'm talking about a hole in her shoulder, nearly to the bone, the size of my palm... it all grew back. If there's hope, he will explore all avenues.More recently, my other dog developed bone cancer. Dr. Sims was honest about the prognosis and how much time we had left with Puppy. Even on the day of his euthanasia, Puppy managed to stand and happily greeted Dr. Sims, despite being unable to walk anymore. There was no miracle cure for this one, but Dr. Sims saw him through the end in a very peaceful way.I've seen another vet from the area mentioned in a review, but neither my parents nor I will go to that person. That's all I'll say about that.
June 09 · Nikki SDr sims himself is good himself. But the staffing upfront is very rude. I asked for paper work for my cat and the lady was a “Mrs. Know it all” and was going against everything we said about the cat being adopted at petsmart. All we needed was the paper work but she wanted to argue back and forth before giving it to us. So unprofessional.
