★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I found myself in a time sensitive situation when I was TDY to Fort Leonard Wood and my pet needed some dental work done. After calling the on post veterinary clinic all week and not getting a response to voicemails, I was recommended Cross Creek. The staff was incredibly accommodating and able to get me in for not only the dental work, but an initial consultation all in less than a week and a half. They took their time explaining the left and right end of my pet’s dental quote and made sure I understood everything and my options.Surgery day went great and my cost ended up being on the lower end of the quote which was a great relief! Return instructions were easy and understandable. The staff even called a day or two later to make sure everything was going okay.Super accommodating, great work, and kind employees. - Cross creek literally saved our Basset Hound. After our Basset Hound Charlie ate a walnut outside without us knowing, he lost his appetite, was constantly puking and was really starting to lose his weight. We took him to our normal vet and after an X-Ray and some quick looking over they sent us home with an IV and an antibiotic assuming it was just some sort of stomach virus. Well after another week of his health getting much more worse we brought him into Cross Creek where the primary vet (I forget her name) automatically knew she needed to do some more aggressive diagnosing and gave us plenty of options of what we could do. She recommended an exploratory surgery which during that time is when she found the walnut lodged in his intestine, tearing into it and ready to kill him. Without this vet we wouldn’t have had any real answer to why our dog was going downhill so fast and like she said, our boy might not have had another day or two left in him had we waited any longer. We are forever grateful for these people at Cross Creek can’t recommend them enough. They even called us for a few days just to see how he was doing and was very thorough with what we needed to do with his meds and aftercare. March 17 · Cookie the Momentum Miata
- Took my dog for an abscess over her molar under her eye. Of course she needed antibiotics and they wanted to pull the tooth. My dog only has four large teeth in her mouth because she’s a mixed breed so she has small dog teeth everywhere else and big dog teeth in the back. Is there anything else could be besides she said well it could be cancer It’s not cancer I told her I took my dog after scheduling the appointment for the teeth extraction. She said we have her put under. We look to see if any other teeth pulled. I’m absolutely not doing this to my dog and neither should you a dogs health goes downhill when you pull the teeth. I just took my dog home gave her antibiotics and you know that cavities can fix themselves. I’ve been keeping her teeth clean and brushing them. She’s not had any issues since do not pull your dogs teeth just because they tell you they need pull your dog can get over an infection and live in normal healthy happy life, just because of an abscess doesn’t mean the tooth is gone. She literally said it might’ve been a piece of plaque that broke off the tooth that caused the infection not that the tooth was actually decayed so why would they need to pull it if there’s no actual tooth decay. I thought it was important to post this because many people do whatever the vet tells them dogs need their teeth take care of your dog brush their teeth use tooth wipes after they eat to keep the area clean from bacteria and don’t pull the teeth teeth out. If you give wet food, you have to brush their teeth regularly I did not appreciate that. She said it was either a tooth pulled or cancer that those would be the only two options. I haven’t been to the vet since my dog hasn’t had any infections since the anabiotic. Round. September 17 · APRIL GROSVENOR
- Love this place. My Siberian husky doesn't really like places and strangers. They are always very accommodating to us from checking in then we can go wait in the car till they get us . Straight to the room , and are very understanding from me staying with her all the time while they draw blood to shots , they let me control her and never try to be pushy . They say they are expensive, I got full rounds of shots and checkup for I think 100 bucks . Her simpecaro trio was almost more than the visit(they're cheaper than internet so no complaint just comparing that to the visit price). Totally recommend these people if you have a skiddish fur baby like myself. April 01 · Steven Newsom
- Staff is amazing and they care. Explained everything and gave my dog meds to be comfortable while he was healing. Changed my vet that day….We are now going to Cross Creek!!! April 30 · Tina Mackie
