Dr Marchi, Pet Euthanasia at Home Reviews
I worried that I wouldn't know when the right time was going to be. But that night, his breathing grew shallower, his strength was nearly long gone and could no longer climb the stairs; this time, he didn't even try. He simply sat at the bottom of the stairs, unable to stand on his own. I knew then with a heavy heart that it was time to let him go😭 Marley held on until I returned the next afternoon, giving us a final moment together.I am thankful he was able to be home in his safe place with the person who loved him most, when he took his last breath. The doctor handled the moment with such grace; her empathy, clarity, and quiet professionalism helped me face this unbearable day. You made a painful day a little more peaceful. Thank you
Jun 24, 2025 · deeramosWhile making the difficult decision to say goodbye to Ruby, our 12-year-old Aussie and queen of our family, our subsequent challenge was to find an at home service that we were comfortable working with. After searching for many options and researching various clinicians, I decided to contact Dr. Marchi's office to learn more about them and begin the process. His office representative, Val, responded to my text messages with clear and concise replies and instructions to begin the process and informed me that one of their vets, Dr. Nguyen, would be available during a two-hour window later that same day. This offered us the relief to know that Ruby would be resting sooner rather than later, while still allowing us some time to say our final goodbyes.Arriving during the designated timeframe, Dr. Nguyen was very professional and personable spending time with us and Ruby, asking questions i.e.: what were her favorite things to do (chase balls, long walks in the neighborhood, runs at the beach, to-go dining, quiet nights snuggling at home and sleeping in the next morning; no, that’s not from Ruby’s dating app profile) and what our best memories of her were.Dr. Nguyen also asked questions re: Ruby’s medical condition and shared additional insight based on her decades of experience serving in the ER and her personal experience with her own dog. She was very thorough and calm in explaining the process, showed extreme patience, and demonstrated a high degree of compassion and care in making Ruby (and us) feel safe and comfortable during an emotional time.It was a tough day, and although it will take time for this pain to heal, it was a relief to see that Ruby passed with as much grace and dignity as she lived and is now resting easy thanks to the outstanding communication and services that Dr. Nguyen and the team offered and delivered.Ruby, I told you on numerous occasions that you have had a significant impact on my life, and you will always hold a special place in my heart. Now go chase your squirrels, bark at the sound of a skateboard, ignore other dogs, and welcome any stranger like they were your new best friend. I miss you girl and I will love you forever.
