What is Worth Choosing
Choosing the Fox Valley Animal Welfare League for your pet's care is a decision that offers multiple benefits. The most compelling reason, as evidenced by customer testimonials, is the perfect balance of affordability and quality. One pet owner, a self-described "very picky puppy daddy" with a background in medicine, expressed immense satisfaction with the spay/neuter and microchipping services for their two Chihuahuas. They highlighted the "utmost of professionalism and superb service" from scheduling to discharge, noting that their puppies recovered "fantastic" with "suture lines look great." This review is a powerful endorsement, coming from someone with a critical eye for medical standards. The fact that they received "above and beyond" care speaks volumes about the dedication of the FVAWL team.
Another glowing review directly addresses the financial aspect, which is a key part of FVAWL's mission. A pet owner was "ecstatic" to discover the clinic after receiving a "crazy amount quoted by our vet" for a puppy spay. They were thrilled to find that FVAWL's price was "a quarter of the price" and that the staff was "so helpful." This testimonial perfectly encapsulates the value proposition of the clinic: high-quality care that is not out of reach for families on a budget.
Beyond the financial and professional aspects, choosing FVAWL means you are supporting an organization with a noble purpose. They are a non-profit committed to a mission of animal welfare, and by utilizing their services, you are contributing to a cause that helps countless animals in the region. This is a unique and rewarding aspect of their business model. June 14 · Robert SteeleWe could not be happier! We had no idea how expensive a spay for a a new puppy was and couldn’t afford the crazy amount quoted by our vet. Fox Valley Animal clinic were a quarter of the price and so helpful!
July 21 · Nadine VenterThey always go above and beyond for my fur babies that I bring in. Almost everyone is very kind and friendly. The vets here have such a big heart and so much love for animals. I thousand percent trust them handling my animals. Getting an appointment is a little difficult, but that is because their prices are very cheap and they do that because they love animals and want to help. I bring all of my animals here, including my rescues and I have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!!
March 28 · Christina MMy kitten got neutered here yesterday and it was a great experience. He got two vaccines, got microchipped, got some testing done, and got some pain meds! Got the test results the same day too. It was super easy to register the microchip as well. Please, make sure you park in front of the building though! I did get a little lost during drop off because I thought the parking lot attached to it on the side of the building was part of the clinics but the receptionist let me know immediately that it’s not their parking lot and to hurry to get back to my car because they tow cars all the time lol. That’s like the only real advice that I have is to park on the little hill directly in front of the building! 😊 also, I see a lot of comments about them not answering their phones, but this is a volunteer clinic. The people who are doing these services for your animals do not get paid and the services are very cheap, so I can only imagine that they get 100+ calls a day, I was extremely lucky when I called to make an appointment but they answered my call the very first time I called.
June 13 · CHRISTINA WYMANI took my cat here to get neutered and i’m highly disappointed with something that could have been prevented. My significant other was the one to pick up our cat after his neutering, and he immediately told me how they told him nothing about how to care for our cat afterwards, even worse they had said nothing at all. They just handed him our cat and handed us a bag with an inflatable cone. The cone in which we took home and saw it was too small and our cat had already pierced after trying to put in on. In my efforts to try to keep my cat well while also having a job, the area ended up getting infected. With concern and fear I called a 24 hour emergency vet. I emailed them images of his wounds and they called me back saying I should see a specialist as soon as possible. I found out his neutering was not done properly. This ended in a hospital bill I cannot afford. I find a minor issue being the communication but a big issue on how I was told the procedure was done wrong by another vet. It made me lose trust in who I give my cat to.
