★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Not a reflection on the doctors’ care or expertise — but the billing policies here are outrageous. To book an appointment, you must pay $375 up front — even though appointments are typically booked 4–6 weeks out. That means they’re holding your money, earning interest on it while you wait, and you’re left without timely care or flexibility.Worse, if you cancel at any time up to 24 hours before the appointment, they keep $75. If you cancel on the day of, they keep the entire $375.While it’s fair to charge for last-minute cancellations, keeping $75 when you cancel weeks in advance — or even on the same day you booked — feels more like a cash grab than a reasonable policy, especially when the office will likely fill the appointment time with another patient if cancelled days or weeks before.Even more troubling, if other reviews are accurate, they’ve charged the same cancellation fee even when a pet passed away before the appointment. That’s not just cold — it’s unacceptable. Any vet who stands by that policy shows a lack of compassion I wouldn’t trust with my animal.Save yourself the trouble. If you need a pet ophthalmologist in the Naperville area, I highly recommend VCA Animal Hospital in Aurora. The care is excellent, the visit costs 20% less, and their $100 deposit is fully refundable with at least 24 hours’ notice.
June 24 · J Gregory HigginsIt's been about a month since I took my cat to Dr. Lindley, and my little girl has recovered completely and better than I thought. She is actually more lively than ever now, which was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Dr. Lindley's stitches were incredible. She did such an amazing job for how small they were. Throughout the process (which took about a month), Dr and her assistant Gabby were patient, helpful, and very caring. Gabby made sure to follow up with me numerous times and I really appreciated that since I'd never been through this and had questions along the way.Was it expensive? Yes. But the quality of care and the professional expertise was worth it. I highly recommend their services.
May 01 · L ClarkBeware as this place is all about $$ first and your pet later. They have ZERO compassion as long as they get their money! Just ask Chris the manager as he charges you the $75 for a missed appointment despite your beloved pet of 16 years passing away the night before. Sorry, but I’m charging your card for the missed appointment- nice job Chris.
April 05 · Brett AllisonWhen you sign a contract with this office beware . You pay even if your pet passes away before its appointment . All about $ .The mistake I made was not reading this offices reviews . It’s seems a lot of individuals felt the same way. Your contract should read “ under no circumstances INCLUDING DEATH”and if sharing this situations compels others to give their opinions that their prerogative .
April 07 · SuzAnne AllisonAbsolutely outstanding medical staff. My journey started on February 2nd 2023 when my Brussels Griffon. Pixie was diagnosed with Diabetes back in June of 2022. Cataracts started in November. Once the diabetes was controlled in mid-January of 2023 we went numerous through numerous tests to see if she qualified for Cataracts Surgery. The Cataracts and Corneal Lens Implants surgery was performed on February13th. Vision has been fully restored. Today was my 4th Follow-up Surgery and everything is great. So Blessed.😊❤️
