Garland cattery Introduce
As a Texan, you know the importance of community and trust, especially when it comes to the well-being of your family, which, for many of us, includes our beloved pets. The desire to bring a new furry friend into your home is a joyous occasion, filled with excitement and anticipation. However, it's a process that requires careful research and due diligence to ensure you are dealing with a reputable and ethical provider. This is especially true when searching for a specific breed or a young kitten, where the emotional investment is high. In the Austin area, a name that has surfaced in various online forums and reviews is Garland Cattery. This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the public information available about this entity, serving as a cautionary guide for local residents. The information presented here is based on multiple user-generated reviews and public data, and it is crucial for anyone considering a new pet to be fully informed before making any decisions. The primary goal is to help you navigate the often-complex world of pet acquisition and to protect you from potential disappointment or worse. The narrative around Garland Cattery, as detailed in numerous public accounts, raises significant red flags that any potential buyer should be aware of. This is not a typical review of a veterinary clinic or a boarding facility, but rather an exploration of a business that, according to multiple sources, operates in a way that has caused considerable distress and financial loss to prospective pet owners. The emotional toll of such experiences can be devastating, and it is our hope that by shedding light on these issues, we can help other Texans avoid similar situations.
Garland Cattery is publicly associated with the address 7601 Tisdale Dr, Austin, TX 78757, USA. A search of public records for this address indicates it is a multi-family residential property, a detail that may be unusual for a legitimate cattery or professional breeding operation. The accessibility of a business is often a sign of its legitimacy, but in this case, the address seems to be a private residence rather than a commercial facility. This has made it difficult for individuals to physically verify the cattery's operations, a key point highlighted in several user reviews. For locals in Austin, this lack of a verifiable, professional-grade facility is a significant concern. The fact that the address is a private home, as per public records, complicates matters. It can make it challenging for interested parties to arrange in-person visits to see the animals' living conditions, meet the parent cats, or interact with the kittens before committing to a purchase. In the world of responsible pet breeding, transparency and the ability for buyers to see the environment in which the animals are raised are considered best practices. The address’s residential nature, combined with the business’s alleged practices, makes it difficult to ascertain the true nature of the operation. This location, situated in the Crestview neighborhood, is a quiet residential area, not a commercial zone typically associated with a large-scale breeding operation. This geographical detail adds another layer of complexity to the public's understanding of Garland Cattery and its business model, further emphasizing the need for extreme caution when engaging with them.
Based on the public reviews and reports from individuals who have had dealings with Garland Cattery, the "services offered" are described as being part of a fraudulent scheme. The business is reported to take payments for kittens that are never delivered. According to these accounts, the services appear to be:
Sale of kittens: Customers report entering into agreements to purchase kittens, often after being shown pictures and videos of the animals. These transactions are often initiated with a deposit to secure the kitten.
"Shipping" and "Delivery": A key part of the alleged scheme involves a fabricated delivery process. Customers are provided with fraudulent tracking numbers and contact information for a non-existent shipping company. At every stage of this purported delivery, the customer is asked for more money for various made-up fees, such as for a "special pet carrier" or unexpected "emergencies" with the kitten.
Puppy and kitten transport: While the business is named "cattery," at least one review indicates it was involved in a situation with a puppy, suggesting the alleged scam may not be limited to cats.
The alleged "features" of Garland Cattery, as described in public reviews, are not a list of positive attributes, but rather a series of red flags that potential buyers should be aware of. These features, or highlights of concern, are a consistent theme across multiple accounts and are what define the business’s reputation in the public eye. They serve as a vital warning system for anyone considering a purchase from this entity. The patterns of behavior reported are clear and concerning, making it crucial for local Texans to be informed of these potential issues before proceeding. These features, or points of concern, include:
Payment methods: The company reportedly only accepts non-traditional, difficult-to-trace payment methods such as Zelle and Cash App. These platforms offer limited buyer protection, making it nearly impossible for a customer to recover funds once they have been sent. The instruction to use these specific payment methods is a major red flag in online transactions.
Communication: According to reviews, all communication is done through a Google Voice number, which often texts back but never answers calls. This lack of direct, personal communication is a significant concern for any legitimate business, especially one involving the sale of live animals. The inability to speak with a real person to address concerns or get updates is a hallmark of the alleged scam.
Fraudulent activity: Numerous customers have reported that their payments were flagged by their banks as being sent to a fraudulent account. This, combined with the provision of fake tracking numbers and delivery information, is concrete evidence of fraudulent activity as alleged by multiple individuals.
Lack of transparency: The company's operations are shrouded in secrecy. There is no physical cattery that can be visited, no clear chain of custody for the animals, and no opportunity to verify the health or living conditions of the kittens. This complete lack of transparency is a major warning sign for anyone seeking a healthy, well-socialized pet from a responsible breeder.
Based on the public information and reviews, the contact details for this business are limited and are part of the reported fraudulent activity. The provided address is a residential property and the phone number is linked to a communication method that avoids direct contact. Therefore, the contact information is as follows:
Address: 7601 Tisdale Dr, Austin, TX 78757, USA
Phone: None available that reportedly connects to a live, accountable person. Communication is alleged to be through a text-only Google Voice number.
In conclusion, based on the numerous public reviews and personal accounts from local residents, Garland Cattery is not a suitable or recommended option for those seeking to purchase a pet. The overwhelming evidence suggests that this business is a scam designed to take advantage of hopeful pet owners. For Texans looking to add a new cat to their family, it is essential to conduct thorough research, ask for a verifiable physical address where you can visit the animals, insist on a clear and transparent contract, and use secure payment methods that offer buyer protection. Legitimate and ethical breeders will be transparent about their operations, welcome you to see their facilities, and prioritize the health and welfare of their animals above all else. They will not ask for payments via methods like Zelle and Cash App, nor will they operate with a veil of secrecy. For the residents of Austin and the wider Texas region, this serves as a critical warning. The emotional and financial risk associated with engaging with a business like Garland Cattery, as documented by multiple public sources, is simply too high. Protecting yourself and your family from fraudulent pet sales begins with being an informed and cautious consumer. It is always better to err on the side of caution and seek out breeders or adoption agencies with a proven track record of ethical practices and positive community feedback.

Garland cattery Reviews
If I could leave NO stars I would. This company is a scam. Kitten never delivered as promised. Took us for $1500 with promises that our kitten would be delivered this past weekend. "Company" only accepts cashapp and payments via Zelle. Never able to actually speak with anyone, all communication done through a google voice number that never answers calls but will text back. At every scheduled delivery something would happen with the kitten that required me to send more money. Got notification from my bank that the last payment sent was to a fraudulent account. When advising the person I was speaking with about this issue they assured me that there was no problem that I just need to call the bank and force the funds which I did not do as the whole experience was sketchy. This was a gift for my little girl that we went above and beyond to purchase for her even driving to the airport to speak with the company that is supposed to transport the kitten. Upon arrival our fear was confirmed that this company was a scam and that the information including a tracking number provided by Garland Cattery was fraudulent! We were never able to get the kitten and are now in the process of filing legal actions against this company to get our monies paid for purchase and travel back. 10/10 DO NOT RECCOMMEND!
