I can't say enough good things about every single person that works in this office. I barely have one foot in the door and someone is greeting us with a smile. We started coming here 7 months ago, when we were sold a puppy that we had no idea was extremely ill. My wife and I with 100% certainty can say, Dr. Kodey Ridenour and her amazing team saved our dogs life. Dr. R always made us feel informed and took her time EVERYTIME we were in the office. Pretty sure it was once a week for the first 6 weeks. I have never felt more comfortable putting an animal in someone's care. We recommend them to anyone we can. Great first time vet experience at this location with Dr. Hanna Johnson. She was very thorough with my cat and gave explanations on all of my questions. She spent a significant amount of time with me and explained everything in simple terms. Before any procedures/tests were run I was provided with a breakdown of the costs associated. I will definitely be back to this location in the future!

I have had a plethora of services from GoodVets South Tampa. I would and HAVE recommended them to everyone I know. I absolutely adore and maybe abuse their texting system, which is great if I have a quick question or need to update the Dr's on something.I was introduced to them through VEG, as my 5 yr old Great Dane needed treatments and continued monitoring for anemia and ehrlichia. They were so compassionate and helpful when I was at the end of my rope, emotionally and financially. Dr. Caspary and crew were always available to discuss his status and open their schedules to see him. I ended up having to take him to VEG a second time for another blood transfusion. Dr. Caspary took the time out of her Saturday to bring me meds from her clinic that were more affordable and asked if I needed lunch. I cannot express to you have much this meant to me. When it came down to it and I had to make the hard decision to let him pass on the whole clinic was there to support me, writing me a handwritten card that I still have years later. In a time where I was lost, they were there to help.Alternatively, when it was time to bring another member into the family I knew that I absolutely needed to bring my great dane puppy back to GoodVets. He is now a year and a half and we have been to GoodVets MANY times (he likes to keep me on my toes LOL). The Dr's, Techs and Staff (shout out Gabby) are still stars in my eyes. We come in for "Happy Visits" to keep up the good vibes, they are great at keeping my nervous giant boy at ease. I will continue to go to this clinic as long as I am in Tampa. They almost feel like family at this point. I have seen all Dr's on staff and have enjoyed working with them all.Also, for any giant breed dog owners, I would absolutely recommend their wellness plan, it saved us $100s last year when Neptune got his neuter surgery and with the amount of visits we had.

My dog Blue tore her ACL around 3:30pm on Tuesday. She was seen by Dr. Ridenour at 4pm that day and scheduled for TPLO surgery with a board certified surgeon the next day. You really can’t ask for a better response time. On top of that, Blue’s kidney values were further investigated which led to necessary changes. Finding doctors who look at the whole picture, not just the issue you come in for is life saving. Personally, I approach dog health care from a western and eastern perspective. Regarding the kidneys, Dr. Ridenour was extremely encouraging to work with me to incorporate both schools of thought. I highly recommend this office for everything - surgeries, wellness etc. They take the extra steps to investigate and make your animals feel comfortable (parents too). Exceptional people skills, answered every question and provided additional information to educate. Thank you Dr. Ridenour and staff for everything you do for all and for Blue.
