Apr 29, 2025 · Sagar ShahIt was very kind space and staff, and everything was easy. We will be doing some following up and hoping for the best, but we did not feel bad after our first visit. Drew blood and did a rabies shot and it was super efficient.
Mar 04, 2025 · erin greenWe had an emergency with our dog Charley this past week. We called GoodVets as they are down the street from our house. They said they had an appointment within 45 minutes. Charley was pretty big and a neighbor lent us their wagon to take him there as he could not walk after sliding down on the Ice Thursday. The vet saw me and my husband ( grandparents), within 20 mins and was very kind and thorough . After 30 mins of examining Charley, she met us and compassionately explained Charley’s severe condition. She explained the options for surgery and the alternative based on the low quality of life expectancy even with surgery. She said they would take care of Charley , give him a shot for pain and keep him comfortable until our kids could get away from work and come talk to her. Later that day my daughter and son in law came down, met with her. They got to be there and say goodbye. Unfortunately they came home without Charley. It was a very sad day.The vet took care of everything. They we kind and compassionate. Gave all alternatives and discussed options due to Charley age and the costs of back surgery and the frail life and massive care taking there would be afterwards. They did not take on any excessive expenses or suggest surgeries to make money as some vets would. They are honest and I wanted to tell you this story to encourage anyone in the city to use this Vet .❤️
Feb 08, 2025 · Sherry ChaudhryHave been taking my dog here for nail trims for quite awhile for 30 bucks. Latest visit they ring me up for a tech fee in addition for a total of 66 dollars with zero transparency…for a nail trim. This place has become insanely over priced. Do yourself a favor and hit up Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic down the street, much fairer pricing.
