Healthy Paws Veterinary Clinic Introduce
Finding the right veterinary partner is one of the most important decisions a pet owner in North Dakota can make. **Healthy Paws Veterinary Clinic** in West Fargo, ND, is committed to providing comprehensive, knowledgeable, and genuinely compassionate care for pets in the Fargo-Moorhead area and beyond. Since opening their doors, the clinic has worked to establish a reputation for excellence, welcoming pets with a combination of professional expertise and gentle affection. For local pet owners, the clinic aims to be a trusted resource, ensuring their furry family members thrive from their earliest stages through their senior years.
The foundation of care at Healthy Paws Veterinary Clinic is built on a strong emphasis on **preventative medicine** and **early detection**. The clinic offers a wide array of advanced diagnostic tools and health screening tests to identify potential issues long before they become serious concerns. By combining thorough physical examinations with state-of-the-art technology, the veterinary team strives to provide a detailed and accurate picture of your pet’s health. This proactive approach is key to achieving the clinic's mission of promoting longer, healthier, and happier lives for all patients.
Client testimonials consistently highlight the deeply caring nature of the staff. For example, one happy owner praised the clinic for being the one place that welcomed their "Poppy girl right away" when others had long waiting lists, noting the staff is "not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also deeply compassionate." This is a crucial distinction for local families, as it ensures pets are treated with the gentleness and genuine affection necessary for a positive veterinary experience. They emphasize that the team truly cares, which allows owners to feel "confident and supported."
However, the overall service experience is also paramount. While many clients value the high standard of medical care, some have raised concerns regarding unexpected procedures and billing transparency. One user mentioned a significant charge for services beyond what they initially requested, coupled with a reported lack of clarity in billing and unhelpful response from the reception staff regarding refunds. The importance of clear communication and obtaining itemized estimates before services are rendered is a critical consideration for new and returning clients at any veterinary facility, and is an area where all businesses should strive for consistent transparency and excellent customer service.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- We’ve been bringing our pets to Healthy Paws ever since we got our first kitty over two years ago, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. When no other clinic could see us for months, Healthy Paws welcomed our Poppy girl right away—and after that first visit, we knew we’d found the right place. Now both of our cats are thriving under their care. The staff is not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also deeply compassionate. They treat our girls with such gentleness and genuine affection, it’s clear they truly care. We feel so confident and supported here, and we wholeheartedly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking for a vet who treats your pets like family. May 24 · Alexis Grabau
- Every Vet that I have been to previously will only do what you brought the animal in for. If they see things or recommend things to be done, they will ask you before doing them. This vet does not do that. When the visit was completed, the total charge was over $500.00. We brought our dog in for a Heart Worm test and to get the meds for that. The printer was not working so my wife did not get an invoice. They emailed it to her. When she called back the next day to question, the receptionist was very rude and stated that the sign says that there are not any refunds. This is not the way that you treat your customers. There are a lot of other vet clinics in the area to choose from so we will be leaving this clinic. July 22 · Chris Larson
- I was attempting to schedule a checkup for my pet but from the jump I was treated as an inconvenience and with impatience. Perhaps the services would be good but I dont know as I didn't schedule. If I'm already being treated like I'm stupid and an annoyance before even scheduling, I can't trust their services for my pet. June 23 · Josh Graham
- A clinic where the staff genuinely cares about the pets it services as well as the people who bring them. Highly recommend. August 28 · Thomas Overmiller
- Absolutely love this clinic! They do so well with my anxious kitty by giving her the space an care to help her feel safe and secure. (Or at least as safe as she can feel in an unfamiliar space) I also appreciate immensely how much they go out of their way to provide resources and explanations to help me feel truly involved in my pets' health care.
