★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I have only had my kittens since November 2024. My 1st one was very sick and almost died, Healthy Paws took very good care of her and helped me nurse her back to good health. She was spayed there and then we got a second kitten who needed to be looked at. Healthy paws got me in fast and she’s doing well. Yesterday I had health concerns and they again got me in very quickly and she is doing well also. They are very friendly and very kind to both people and animals. I will continue to take my girls to Healthy Paws! June 03 · Shirley Jeske
- Frenchie would like to give you a high paw 5 and say thank you for helping her out this week. She is hoping with her me medication she will be up and running on all 20 toe beans. Thank you again and we would highly recommend heathy paws!!! August 07 · Brad Dahmer
- Healthy Paws has taken care of my pets since we moved here in 2020. Each vet and vet tech we’ve seen is professionally excellent, a compassionate care-giver, and knowledgeable about the physical and behavioral needs of my dog. When my senior dog became sick and ultimately needed to cross the rainbow bridge, the tenderness and thoroughness of each visit was so appreciated. My new dog is a challenge and our visits are stressful, but the staff and doctors have helped us tremendously with reassurance and patience. They work so hard to help my spicy pup get the care she needs. I am so grateful for all the ways this vet practice cares for me and my dog, and it’s obvious they invest the same level of quality for all their patients. August 19 · Kathryn Markert
- I've been bringing my two dogs to Dr Lisa at Healthy Paws in Sheboygan Falls for 3 years now. My dogs are not the best "patients" however Dr Lisa and all the staff go out of their way to accommodate them during office visits. I definitely recommend Healthy Paws based on my experience. - I have been bringing my dog to Healthy Paws for about a year and a half, since moving to the Sheboygan area. From the very first appointment, I was not particularly impressed with the care we received. My dog is a naturally loud breed, and when he gets to the vet, he becomes excited and howls. I’ve always sensed a level of annoyance from the reception staff when this happens — to the point that they intentionally ignore him while doting on other dogs that come in.This ties into another frustration: the extremely long wait times. Even with an appointment scheduled in advance, I’ve consistently had to wait a long time both in the waiting room and again in the exam room. Most recently, I brought my dog in for a quick recheck of an ear infection and ended up there for an hour, which felt excessive for what should have been a short visit.I also take issue with the “anxiety score” listed on the visit summaries. My dog consistently scored a zero at every appointment, but last time he received a one because he didn’t enjoy having his infected ears flushed — which was likely painful. I don’t find this helpful or see how this is a reflection of his care, all dogs are going to show symptoms of anxiety when they are in pain.Regarding the medical care itself, I have felt judged by a couple of different veterinarians over my choice not to put my dog under anesthesia for elective procedures like a growth removal or teeth cleaning. I love my dog very much — I’ve spent thousands of dollars taking him to a cardiologist for a heart murmur, I always give his medications as prescribed, and I bring him in promptly when needed. Yet despite my commitment to his care, I’ve felt looked down on for making what I believe are reasonable, informed decisions about his treatment. That feeling of judgment is ultimately why I will not be returning to Healthy Paws. For the first 3.5 years of my dog’s life, we saw a veterinarian in Milwaukee who always offered options for care and never made me feel judged for the choices I made as his owner. My dog thrived under their care and even looked forward to going there — unlike at Healthy Paws, where his last visit was marked by visible fear.I hope this feedback is taken seriously and inspires some changes, so that you don’t lose more clients in the future.
