Heartwood Animal Hospital Reviews
Giving 4 stars because it was our first visit with our 12 week Golden-doodle. The staff was very friendly and greeted us immediately when we walked in. The team went over everything when it came to all vaccinations our fur baby already had and the next round of vaccines. We received a puppy bag which was a folder of all practice info, a coupon for the online store and other material. Easy to rebook an appointment at the front desk. I love that they also have an app with all details in one place. We will back for our follow up appointment in July !Thank you again for making our first visit amazing.
Jun 24, 2025 · SamyaI rescued a kitten awhile back from one of my jobsites, and Heartwood was the only vet in the area to provide service for me on that short of notice. They were the only group that cared to help immediately in the needs of that stray cat. I was willing to pay whatever it took at any facility, but even one that we frequented over many years blew me off because I didn't have an appointment. This facility has caring taking place for animals. It's been a few years now, but we kept the cat, and now this vet is our new vet for all our pets. Appreciate them.
Mar 26, 2025 · William EpsteinDr. Shepherd was patient and thoughtful as she walked me through the TPLO procedure that my dog needed. All of the staff are professional, patient and kind. Although I was anxious about my dog surgery, I did feel a sense of ease and confidence after a few visits with Heartwood animal Hospital, doctors and staff. The surgical team that they work with from TVSS was top notch and also answered questions and followed up to check on my pup the day after the surgery. Both the surgeon and Heartwood animal Hospital made themselves available to us. We highly recommend Heartwood animal Hospital.
Jun 30, 2025 · gloria floresThis office is AMAZING and accommodating. They go above and beyond for clients. I found myself in an unfortunate situation with our dog while out of state, and they took care of our pup same day with patience, love, and did not rush things at all. If we were closer or within few hours, I would not hesitate to make the drive for the outstanding care. We had issues with our pet insurance and Miranda addressed it with promptness. Dr Landa made sure her notes were very detailed for our vet back home regarding imaging and findings. Our vet had no questions or discrediting of the information provided by Heartwood, very thorough and detailed notes. Miranda did not have to go the extra mile for the insurance discrepancy, never pushed back or declined to do it for us but did all she could--with success! The practice whenever I had to reach out have been so courteous, professional, and friendly. North Carolina is lucky to have such a top-notch practice that is more "family-like" than "business-like" to their clients.
Apr 02, 2025 · Nicole CowanWe LOVE both doctors and all the staff. Everyone is super kind and supportive. Our dog, Bridget, has had various stomach and seasonal allergies issues since was rescued her at 4 mos old. She is now 2.5. We are retired and like most are on a slim budget. Heartwood has never pressured us into costly medical procedures or medications. They always give us options based on price as well as Bridget well being and comfort and are always supportive of the decisions we make. They are available to answer our questions over the phone and respectful of our time. Heartwood Animal Hospital will always be who we trust with Bridget's health.
