Newburyport Veterinary Clinic Reviews
First I want to say, I am autistic… I struggle talking on the phone as it is… I am scared to take my rabbit here, (but there are no other vets who take rabbits.) I haven’t taken my rabbit to this vet yet and this review is souly based on a couple interactions I’ve had… Around a year ago I had rescued 3 boys from a really bad situation, and had made an appt for them, but ended up finding them loving homes, before I was able to take them to the vet, so I had to cancel the appt and the same lady from today was mean to me then… (And I cancelled like a whole month before they were even due for their appt…)Then fast forward to today. I adopted two male rabbits last week from a friend, because I decided I wanted to have a rabbit of my own and my landlord finally approved me to have one… So last week I had made an appt for the two brothers I got (one for myself & one for my room mate), for July…However, I noticed my rabbit, has a gimpy leg. So I decided to get my rabbit in sooner, and my room mate said he wanted to bring his own rabbit to the vet instead of me taking them both to prevent hormonal fighting. (They have started humping, nipping, and circling each other.)Whoever answered the phone today around 1pm, and who has in the past also answered the phone with me, is very rude… I am on SSI, and sometimes I have to juggle appts around to make sure my babies get annual and emergent vet care when needed… I was extremely nervous to call today in fear of this lady answering, when I realized I had to reschedule my appt for Kylo (my rabbit), and I was right to be nervous. When I explained the situation to her, she got huffy and started getting a really bad attitude with me… I’m hoping once I take my rabbit to the vet I have a better experience… But I don’t think it’s right to treat (especially) new clients the way I’ve been treated over the phone…

There's great communication here and I don't feel like I'm being upsold or that I'm paying for anything unnecessary. This is a great vet, I'd recommend them to anyone.
Oct 15, 2024 · Sam DFrom the moment we walked in for each visit and to the time we left, we were impressed. The staff is very professional and friendly. Warm greetings each visit. Another huge plus was the cleanliness of the office. We've been to other offices that had an off-putting odor, and this office did not have that funk. It was nice walking in to a clean vet office.
