Mar 31, 2025 · Christopher MitchellMy husband and I just moved up to the area and needed to find a new vet clinic. We have two rescue dogs with varying needs and personalities. Merrimac Valley was responsive, supportive, and proactive about working with us to make sure both of our dogs had positive and comfortable experiences at their first appointments here. We appreciate that all of the staff are knowledgeable and the clinic's fear-free certification gave us peace of mind. We are so glad that we found them.
Jan 16, 2025 · Danniele MillerMy cat hadn’t eaten in three days and I basically told the woman who answered the phone, “ I think she is dying”. (She WAS only 7)Her response was “ We are booked up all week”!!!!! My cat was a patient there! Amesbury Animal hospital got her right in. I learned from the doctor there that the price for testing I was given a year ago by Merrimack Valley animal hospital was three times the cost. Unfortunately our cat did not make it. I would stay away from ever taking an animal here.
Jun 25, 2025 · Suzanne LavenderThey advertise online saying your first visit is free for any pet that they haven't seen. I called them and told them that I've always taken my other dog to them, but she Passed away last summer. We recently inherited her sister and they have never seen her at this vet so I asked them if they can take a look at her dew claw because it's hanging off and she said it would cost $99 just for the physical exam so I told her that I'd like to take advantage of the Free first appointment and she proceeded to tell me that because she has seen my other dog in the past I wouldn't be eligible for that even though she just finished telling me that if she's never seen the dog they are eligible for the free visit.. what a scam!! I'm am sweet and will never go back there!
Feb 03, 2025 · Wendy GauthierSuper friendly, understanding, informative & helpful. Multiple vets wouldn't even see my cat with his urinary issue and they did and put a plan & resources in place. Thank you for your compassion and hope in getting my fur baby better.
