★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have been coming to Higland Village Animal Hospital since our dog Sage was about 6 months old & she’s 3 1/2 now. Have been very pleased with the staff during every visit. They are very caring, knowledgeable & patient. I had Sage spayed here and they healed two ear infections. Today we saw the Dr. for a lump on Sage and are waiting to get results back…. I feel like I’m in good hands at this veterinary hospital and you will too! Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of Sage!Update: We received the fine needle aspiration results back on Sages lump showing it was inflammation most likely from the shot they gave her for her ear infection a few weeks prior. We are so relieved it’s nothing serious. We appreciate that the Dr. was willing to do the extra testing that we requested to put our mind at ease.Update: We have a new puppy & we’re so grateful for the wonderful staff here! Got our puppies exam and shots done. Such a relief knowing our dogs are in such good care here.
June 11 · LisaI love this vet place. My British shorthair cat always feels the love everytime we come here. Dr. Asaad is such a great vet and really has a love for animals. I’ve never had an issue coming here from front office with Bridget or the assistants Alyssa and Jasmin, they are all wonderful. I would recommend coming here
June 21 · Jovalyn OngosI made an appointment for 4pm as my pup developed a bad cough. Im a new patient never been seen here before. I showed up early for my appointment to fill out any paperwork needed and they asked that we wait outside in our car and they would call us when my pup could be seen. I completely understand this as my pup may have been contagious. I waited in my car, engine running as it was 98 degrees. I waited for 35 minutes and called the office. They said they were busy and it would be another 15 minutes. Ok, I get stuff happens so I waited in a hot car with a sick 80 pound pup for another 30MINUTES.. no calls nothing!. But the office staff kept walking in front of my car heading to the chocolate shop next door. I left the parking lot at 5:10, 70 minutes after my appointment time frustrated. They have zero interest in their patients or getting new ones. I never saw the vet so I can't leave a review for him, but seriously, I've never waited 70 minutes at any doctors office when i had an appointment why would I do it at a vets office? They did finally call me at 5:34 (an hour and a half after my appointment time) to come in but too late, I already left and never coming back. Sorry Highland Village Pet Village but my time is worth something as well. Get a sick room for animals that can't wait in the waiting room and be more considerate of your patients time. Don't overbook
August 06 · Denise DecarvalhoThey killed our dog. Literally. They killed our dog, it was insanely expensive, and they charged for ‘CPR’ - when in-fact the CPR did nothing but just end our dog’s life. PLEASE do not go here. It’s the hospital that will worry moreover money, consider being money-hungry over an ANIMAL’S life — They did not once try to save our dog’s life and not even THIRTY minutes, he’s already gone. We’re completely devastated, please do not go here- go to another one if you have to. #LongLiveLeo🕊️
June 09 · P JI wanted to come on here and personally thank Dr Asaad. I came in about 2 weeks ago because my dogs paw was swollen and he was limping. After gentle care and examination the Dr did, we found out Moose broke his toe. This resulted into him needed a splint. I was very nervous because for obvious reasons, the splint and the x-rays were very expensive, and he said we had to keep it very clean and dry to avoid having to pay to re-splint. I'm on week 2 1/2 and moose's splint looks very good. To do this, i kept him him in his kennel when we were out so he didn't have the freedom of running/jumping. EVERYTIME we took him out to go potty we put a plastic bag on his splint and tied it with a rubber band. We allowed him to sleep on our bed at night that way we knew he wasn't licking his splint or around his splint to avoid an infection. This is very doable, it is tedious, but it will save you money. Here's some pictures of moose! * and you can see in the photos he has a plastic bag to keep it clean and fresh to avoid infection and re-splinting!*
