Laurelwood Animal Hospital: Erdman Lynn F DVM Reviews
Dr. Erdman & Dr. Franklin are both exemplary vets -- super skilled, very experienced, and truly caring. We've taken our cats here for at least 25 years, and they're always awesome.
Feb 22, 2025 · Robin KnauerhaseDr. Erdman takes care of my diabetic dog, and Dr. Raymond takes care of my cat with kidney problems, and I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH. Excellent providers who actually care, use their personal time to get back to me, and do their best to work with me on cost. They are always really busy, but worth the wait. I highly recommend this vet forever and ever. I love them.
Feb 18, 2021 · CC SirenDr. Franklin is incredible. My wife and I drive 15 hours from LA to see him - and we wouldn't dream of going to another vet.My wife and I live in Los Angeles, but were in Minneapolis over the holidays when our dog became incredibly ill. We took him to two local veterinarians and a specialist in the Twin Cities and nobody could figure out what was wrong with him. When we were back in LA, a veterinarian friend recommended Dr. Franklin. She said he was the best and was worth the 15 hour drive to Portland. She was absolutely right.Dr. Franklin was caring, empathetic and thorough. He walked us through each test he wanted to do and why he wanted to do it. We never felt like he was running unnecessary tests or performing unnecessary procedures and we never felt pressured. We cannot say how grateful we are for Dr. Franklin or his care... and we won't go to another vet for anything other than vaccinations and emergencies. We will make the 15 hour drive to Portland to visit the good doctor. (We've been back once since our initial visit). We cannot recommend Dr. Franklin enough!
Feb 13, 2021 · John McMahonBeen a long time patient (ok my dogs are...) of Dr Erdman and Dr Franklin. They are both highly qualified and excellent vets. But more than that, their empathy for the humans as well as their pets is beyond compare. When you go to them, in your darkest hours, when you know it's time for your friend.. The level of care is beyond reassuring. Once after a rather long (4 months or so) of deteriorating health, working with Dr Erdman, we knew it was time. I had never been with a vet who held me... As she cried with me...I would never go to another vet clinic unless it's beyond a critical emergency put of town...
Feb 06, 2020 · Scott BloomVery professional, sure wait times can be ruff (get it) but they're only long because they take there time making sure each fur child is cared for properly. One lady behind the desk was absolutely phenomenal and made my visit very pleasant. I think her name is Courtney and she helped guide me through a really tough time. She is literally the biggest reason I'll be returning with the rest of my dogs and cats.
