LifeCare Pet Hospital Reviews
I can’t even begin to describe what a positive experience I had at this hospital. I’m from CT and drove 6 hrs to have my French bulldog get his BOAS surgery done here. Why? I had tons of consultations with various doctors and within one email back and forth with Dr. A who sent me the most detailed email on his procedure I finally felt confident that this was the best place to bring my baby. Dr. A uses a harmonic scapel (google it) to do this surgery (at least on the palette part) and it cuts and seals simultaneously with no sutures on the palette are making recovery time minimal. How do I know all of this? He makes you so informed on the entire process, he showed us some other before and after pictures and was just so unbelievably kind. Honestly the entire staff working over the weekend that helped take care of my dog were just so friendly and put my mind at ease that I made the right decision. So far everything has been going great and I can’t wait to see the full results from this surgery, but honestly as a terrified anxious frenchie momma who was so worried about this I couldn’t recommend this hospital and Dr. A enough. The first picture is the day before surgery and the second picture is the day after surgery. Look at how much wider his nostrils are!! Overall amazing experience.
Apr 27, 2025 · Stephanie NardellaI drove almost four hours to visit this Vet. Dr,A was so nice and kind. He was so patient with me and I was so worried about my dog. I have a French bulldog who needed soft pallet surgery and his nares done. They were absaloutley fabulous to work with. The let me sit in a room with my dog during recovery. The pricing was affordable. Over all I’m super pleased. This clinic has been given bad reviews for personality and not one time did I experience any bad behavior. They were so caring and nice during the entire process. I will DEFINTLEY be returning for any major surgeries it is absolutely worth the drive for me because I live 3.5 hours from chantilly. Not one time was one person rude to me here.
Mar 29, 2025 · Cillian DoranLifecare Pet Hospital has provided exceptional veterinary care for our cat over many years, consistently performing successful bladder stone removal surgeries. Their past assistance with stone removal and medication management has been invaluable. They have also maintained our cat's vaccination schedule. Furthermore, the hospital's staff has been accommodating with scheduling and prescription needs. We have also received positive feedback regarding their canine surgery and dental services.
May 15, 2025 · Jenna YanlelI can’t say enough good things about Dr. A and the team at LifeCare Pet Hospital. My dog Archie recently had TPLO knee surgery here, and the experience was outstanding. A few years ago, I had the same surgery done on his other leg at a different vet, and not only was it nearly twice the cost, but it also wasn’t anywhere near the level of care and professionalism we received from Dr. A.Dr. A was honest, straightforward, and didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary treatments or procedures. Everything was included in one reasonable price. No surprise charges. At his final x-ray appointment, which was included, they also clipped his nails and drained a small spot under his eye while he was under. All of that was done at no additional cost. Archie is healing great and looks fantastic.Beyond that, Dr. A showed incredible compassion when we brought in our 13-year-old dog, Norman, for a final vet visit. We expected to pay for the appointment, but Dr. A told us there was no charge. A week later, when we had to make the difficult decision to put Norman down, Dr. A and his team were respectful, kind, and very gracious throughout the entire process.I’ve since referred two friends who were frustrated with their vets constantly trying to push extra tests and procedures that weren’t necessary. LifeCare Pet Hospital is the opposite. They care about the animals and the families behind them.Highly recommend Dr. A and LifeCare Pet Hospital.
Mar 29, 2025 · Bob KehoeI was very pleased with oatmeals first visit to his doctor. She made me feel at ease and answered all of my many questions and addressed my pets health concerns. I am a first time dog owner and I liked how the front staff acknowledged this and helped give me encouragement. They were all very reassuring and knowledgeable.
